I think it’s a pretty big blow for the Larry Frank crew, pushes me in the get Bob direction more than ever. Our front office has always seemingly been a brain trust working together moreso than one guy calling the shots. Pre Kawhi these guys knocked it out the park in every aspect except one draft pick. And even after Kawhi’s ultimatum crippled our assets we carved out banger trades and signings regularly. By all accounts Mike Winger was a huge voice in the room.
However it is a long time coming, he’s always had interest from other teams.
