I’ve seen Steph in a black golf cap that has his logo on it a bunch of times. Every single time I look on the UA site, I either see nothing or see the single color that is there now ([this](https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/p/hats_and_visors/mens_curry_golf_adjustable_cap/1377792.html?dwvar_1377792_color=465&start=0&breadCrumbLast=Curry%20Brand%20Shoes%20and%20Gear) is the only one available). I really don’t like that color, especially with the green threads running through it.
Why not more in stock? Is he creating artificial scarcity? Assuming not, I would have spent $300+ on UA site if what I want (e.g., what I see Steph wearing) is available there. FFS, what better ad for your products do they have other than Steph?? It blows me away that they don’t stock all the stuff he wears.
If he found out, do you think he has any power to force them into shaping up??
This situation is insane to me.

He has made and is going to make hundreds of millions of dollars from that partnership, probably a lot than he will make in his NBA career so I think he has an idea and understand the business. If he doesn’t, he hired people who do.
Steph or no Steph, it’s a shit brand. I refuse to buy anything from UA. Yuck. 🤢🤮
stephs new lifetime deal with them gives him a significant stake in the company. So hes satisfied with his equity and the direction of their plan going forward.
Maybe they did have the colors & styles Steph is wearing but the moment people saw him wearing it they went on the site & snatched them up with in minutes, selling out- only leaving the unpopular unwanted merchandise left🤔🤷♀️- that definitely happens🤔…
UA completely botched having Steph. His shoes are great performers on the court but just very uninspiring. They could have done more to elevate his brand, not to Jordan level but even KD and Bron on the Nike side. It feels they had no idea how to make it work marketing arguably the most valuable player to market in the last 10 years.
They also botched having Embiid on their roster by giving him an uninspiring first sig shoe.
I didn’t even know they made Steph runners and casual shoes until I looked at their website last year
He’s signed a billion dollar deal, bro probably doesn’t give a fuck lmao.
I remember they took mad long to start selling Night Night shirts and they only sold em for like 2 days or something like that smh.
I went to his pop up a years back in Oakland and it had great designs. Not sure what happened, wonder if it was a one time thing or every few years thing.
I even bought a hat that had a fun simple graphic with the “Steph” and UA branding a little more hidden.
Golf enthusiasts also like Curry. This colorway is probably aimed at them.
I don’t like all Jordan shoes. I like some, but not all.
I think the brand will be fine. I got a couple Curry UA shirts that I really like. Can’t please everyone with everything.
Y’all watch that new movie Air?
Steph is making bank but he’s not getting an icon brand.
And Jordan still pulls in $400mil per year in passive income from his shoes.
Plus him wearing the brand and creating buzz about it will make the demand for it more by fans… Marketing and what not 😂
Do they make most of their money selling low cost stuff at lower tier stores?
The UA designers have to be blind, there is no other explanation for the continuous lack of visual appeal of any under armour shoe
I’m a Steph Stan but I recently arrived on an inescapable conclusion – his style is wack.
Wild popular in Asia. All these players with Chinese shoes are selling way more volume than people in the US realize.
This is so sad. We should see this logo as much as the Jordan logo when out and about.
Where is the apparel the hoodies the hats the track suits.
Imagine if Tinker Hatfield designed a SC UA shoe, but yeah his shoes and brand kinda reflect his bubbly style with the loud bright colors he often wears.
He’s not the most fashionable person. He’s just a very simple and humble cool guy. I wish he emphasized more on his designs of the shoes. Kinda like how Kobe Bryant did with Nike. There was a lot of thought process and meaning that went into each of them. And he was always very “hands on” in the design process.
I just feel UA has a idea and model for Steph and Steph just agrees to release it.
Only reason why Curry is with UA – he wanted his fans to be able to afford his shoes. But a pair of Currys is **more** than KD or LBJ’s Nikes. But honestly, **fuck** Under Armour. Kevin Plank tried to suck it up to Trump(because tariffs on textiles – hence why more shit is from Vietnam and Cambodia now) and their unis for NCAA Division 1 teams look like ass.
And the only reason why there’s now a lululemon in Oakland – Ayesha Curry. lululemon so wants Ayesha(and Steph) to be an brand ambassador.
I just want the damn hat he wears
Why can’t we have normal color combos of that
The Curry 4 Flotro is one of my favorite shoes. The Curry 10 is nice as well. Especially “The Town” edition.
This is mildly infuriating to me too. I’ve regularly checked curry brand stock on underarmour and it is rarely refreshed. Always selling the same wildly colored sour patch kids apparel.
Went to a underarmour b&m store in the bay and nothing curry brand. It’s unfathomable.
I, too, would 100% buy a simple cap with the curry logo that I see him wearing literally all the time
Love the Player, FTX greed already has tarnished his brand.
Fun Fact: At the time UA was considering dropping Curry from their brand. It was Kent Bazemore that persuaded them, and now Curry is their biggest signing and money maker. And they also gave a size-able bonus to Baze.
If you give me a billion dollars I won’t care about the marketing.
Bud this is like every brand not just under armour.
He’s with them for life, he got the bag and I think that’s all he really cares about.
It’s amazing the company can still pay him, considering they should be bankrupt. Stock down 84% since IPO. Heinous.
They completely missed a huge opportunity last year after winning the championship should have run ads everywhere. In saying that the dudes got his bag and fair fucks to him.
There was a golf shirt I wanted once and COULD NOT find it. It was infuriating
The marketing is in general bad. Steph’s shoes are quite good performers. They are consistently rated highly by basketball shoe performance sites, and my son loves his — now. He said he had to lace them tight to get lockdown, but with the lockdown he ranks them in his top 2 shoes.
The problem is no one wants to wear UA. You’ve probably seen where they tested the aesthetic appeal of shoe where they just tried changing the logo from Nike, to UA, to Jordan, etc… The exact same design with different logos gets vastly different reception.
They probably should really play to the girls/women market. I think they are less entrenched in Nike.
At least they finally have one. I was looking last year and only saw them on etsy
The last three iterations of his signature shoe look exactly the same. It’s so boring. The Flotro’s have been a nice addition, but I don’t see them being offered anywhere.
UA sucks as a brand in general.
It’s bad enough they never carry what curry actually wears but the website is complete garbage and takes long to load
I have a lot of Curry’s, the 4 was the last interesting design to me. I did buy 9’s because of his all-star performance and the 3-Pt record.
Was very disappointed how they handled this most recent championship. Granted the shoe world was still recovering from supply chain issues, I don’t see how they didn’t have a great commercial, the night night shirts, and the purple flotro’s release was terrible. Still disappointed we haven’t gotten some kind of ‘champ pack’ like years past as well as the things op has mentioned.
Also the 11 looks underwhelming.
Never forget the lunch lady shoes
I don’t think UA uses their stars well. But I’m not sure Steph really cares. Steph is a pretty low key guy, so he might be cool with UA’s approach. Either way Steph is still making bank from them lol
