When it comes to the ball dominate argument I think it still stands.
The key thing is shooting.
The only reason that rockets team worked is that teams prolific shooting but once cp3 and harden got sick of each other and sharing the ball it was over.
And with Brooklyn they already saw kyries incredible off ball game in Cleveland he’s literally 2nd only to Curry when it comes to movement shooting.
Neither scoot or lamelo can do that at this stage or even protect to be able to do that.

Scoot and miller are tier 2 players. Both nice options. Rather trade the pick for something better and proven. To do that, need to clear some bad contracts. There is some real pressure on boston. Would love to have brown more then the pick. Is it possible to keep the pick? Maybe 🤔

Ainge drafted rozier. Maybe jazz take gordon and add more draft capital.
Maybe jazz can flip that draft capital for other teams for whatever reason.
Like you said, maybe the want the third pick because of miller or scoot. They need wing and guard so it’s an interchangeable deal for them.
Imo hornets 🐝 don’t have to have scoot as ball is nice or maybe move ball for scoot. I see some chemistry issues between the two. Eventually the two will demand big bucks like brown and Tatum.
My focus is to get brown. Not focused on whether it’s ball or scoot that is kept. Any team would be happy for either. Both super talented.
What is easier to see is how brown and ball plus returning the core while moving rozier or Gordon to jazz.
Prefer to keep Gordon as brown contract still kick in and need to clear the cap.
Can also get sexton from jazz. Speedy micro bucket getter. Young and has more upside. No doubt he could be of value. Jazz have Clarkson and does what sexton does. Clarkson wants to get paid. Hmm 🤔

Jazz send two firsts.
Hornets 🐝 reign their core and have Gordon on an expiring contract.
Jazz will likely move gay and jones that both have player options and expire within a year.
The hornets 🐝 bring back the core for general analysis.
Run the analytics and this hornets teams is crazy good 👍
I keep using the jazz as a facilitator because they have the picks and cap and connection to these former players. Ainge and mj all know each other.
The reverse 🔄 can be done where brown goes to utah and takes on gordon.
Hornets 🐝 pick up say Clarkson or sexton. I’ll use Clarkson since he is opting out and a sandt makes sense. He also has the best numbers.

Jazz might like gordon back in utah. Send a late pick and some seconds 4. Four seconds is equated to one first in general. Getting two picks is what the jazz wanted for Clarkson. Getting Gordon isn’t bad for them if they take on brown. They will need a big massive contract to dump when browns max kicks in.
Gordon becomes a nice one year rental. Plus gordon said he wanted to go back to utah as his family likes it there.
Totally 💯 see how these three teams can make deals and all win.
It’s a players league. Brown wants to be paid and the owners know that will hurt the team long term. Boston can afford Tatum and brown. The issue is it makes the other teammates get less. With the new cba … no more warriors crap 💩 the luxury tax second apron will crush boston.
Boston better off moving brown and getting players and picks with the cap they deee up.

I hate when people say they “used to say the same thing about lamelo” when lamelo played 12 games in that league and has been known as one of the best shooters coming out of every level shooting has always been a part of his game.

Anybody that watches Lamelo, knows that plays best with athletic players around him i.e Miles Bridges…there’s a ton of other reasons why they should pick Scoot, but everyone’s talking about fit,and we don’t need another guy resorting to chucking up 3s…Scoot is much more versatile
