Not sure we can even afford 85% of that list brother lol
Rentfreelakerfan
Do people understand we actually don’t have much cap space at all?
IlGrandBoss
If only we could sign Lopez, it’s gonna be huge.

Plumlee is a nice realistic option, he’s an underrated big imo

lmao the realistic free agents the lakers can get is:
Watanabe, Smith Jr. and a stretch get in DiVincenzo

I’m a porzingis fan and would be pretty happy to pick him up but I know it won’t happen.

Bring back Westbrook on a vet minimum.
RealtalkMan21
Although most wants Kyrie, it will be hard to keep either AR or Rui. I would rather have both of them and sign DLo for a sign and trade for a center and a young pg. During offseason, they should try to make Max Christie a better player. Pretty sure Coach Handy can teach the man. But if there would be a possibility to get Kyrie and keep AR and Rui, that would be good but again, the odds of that happening would be very very slim.
WideCoconut2230
LBJ and AD once tried to get Harden, but I don’t think there’s cap space. You wouldn’t afford Rui and Reaves and it would be Westbrook 2.0.
Jamel1219
Brook Lopez and the Kuz would be great.. If there was no salary cap..
putinkush
no Dlo no no no, get a solid center and some 3 point shooting, another ring EZ
wooktar
Westbrook and Dillon Brooks
GutsTheSwordsman
In no particular order
Yuta Watanabe, Naz Reid, Seth Curry, Lonnie, Hachimura, Middleton, Craig, Gabe Vincent, Poetl, Max Strus, Bruce Brown, Reaves, Schroder, LeVert, Brook Lopez, Oubre Jr, Barnes, Vucevic, Jerami Grant.
Actually decent amount of talent in this free agency.
TorontoRaptors34
Brooke Lopez would prob be the best option at Center a lot mo realistic than you’d think Watanabe and Trey Lyles was pretty solid on the Kings.
TheWonderfulLife
Russell Westbrook and Pat Bev, obviously
Ill_Celery_7654
I don’t see too many vet minimum players on this list. If we bring our entire current roster back I think that’s the best we can do and then figure out a trade scenario for D.Lo and possibly Mo Bamba if he isn’t going to be utilized.
SunnyForest101
We need 3 and D shooters… Why can’t anyone see that is what the Lakers are missing with Ad and LBJ. Assuming we have Reeves and Rui still, we def need 3 point shooters. Josh hart and Cam Johnson are good pickups and prob not gonna happen Lol
zhard01
Bring pretty much everyone back and add Stanley Johnson and Moritz Wagner. Draft our picks.
I say this cause all we really have to offer are vet min contracts. I have no idea where people think we are getting the other money.
Get these players and they fill needs. Then you can look something like:
Murray and Johnson are obviously not the only ways to pivot in the draft. There are a couple small forwards that are supposed to be knockdown shooters as well available at 17.
Hiplobster123
NAZ REID. AD and Naz front court we be nasty.
sasisasino
Brook on vet and Hart on MLE
LBJ AD Brook Rui Christie Reaves Vando Hart
Good start. Then opt in Bamba and Beasley and trade them for a good PG. Try to resign Dennis on vet. Let Dlo leave.
New/Dennis Reaves/Hart LBJ/Rui AD/Vando Brook/TT

I was listening to Gil, and he mentioned the clause int eh new CBA thats being shipped around where teams can re-invest salaries into their franchise. Meaning if the player is owed 120M/4 or 30/y .. they can effectively offer them the rest of their contract in stock options in the team. Gil even said theres no player that would turn down 15m/yr from the lakers and 60M in stock options.
with that being said, if it pushes through… to answer OP’s post: i would target (all the lakers players + B.Lopez/yuta)
flowermoon24
Jerami Grant would be nice
MrAppleSpoink
If Tingis Pingis picks up his option, we should try and S&T DLo + Bamba or Beasley for him (preferably Mo). Attach a pick if you have to.
He may be injury prone, but so are DLo and Bamba, and he’s essentially the real version of what everyone hyped Mo Bamba up to be and more (defensively especially).
He allows AD to play the 4, he spaces the floor to a really solid degree (mostly because this mf only takes 28 footers but also cause he’s 7’3” so you have to both come further out and commit harder to any potential contest), he can protect the rim at an elite level, and he’s able to score reliably.
Washington is preparing for a changing of the guards (not literal guards, just a saying) and will likely move on from one of Pincus and Beal, and due to it being MUCH easier to move Pringles it’ll probably be him.
Worst case scenario, if nobody we want is on the board at 17, we could trade our first round pick on draft night (absolutely not if someone like Cason Wallace is available though).
A frontcourt of AD and Plinko would be NASTY.
lobzree
Plumlee, Watanabe, Ingles
Dlkenn02
A lot of these guys will be out of the price range. But that aside I think Wood is a guy who the Lakers could use. I think offensively he could slot well next to Bron AD. He can space the floor and is a good pick and roll partner.

Naz Reid is my dream free agent pickup this summer. Doubt we can afford him though.

THT is a MUST. Future hall of famer, only 22, he improved his 3PT % compared to last season. Just an overall generational talent.
