Already a two-time MVP, can a new head coach help unlock more from Giannis? It could be one of the most exciting elements of a new coach. What do you want to see?
I'm hoping for nick nurse but I'm worried we won't be that desirable of a destination cuz horst doesn't really go after players the way some teams will go dip into luxury so heavy
Gianni’s needs a coach to tell him to stop trying to play point and give the ball to the one!!
The new coach needs to tell giannis he's not a point guard. I agree with Justin 100%. They need the ball out of his hands more. Teams don't respect his jump shot so he's relegated to trying to drive when there are three people waiting for him. Unless somebody can teach him how to shoot a jump shot. Stop extending your arm fully and then flicking your wrist. That's not a jump shot.
I don't expect him to be a three-point shooter but I do expect him to be able to hit an open 10 to 15 footer consistently. That would open up a lot for him and others on the team. His technique on his jump shot and free throws is terrible.
Work on the midrange and play more off ball
I would like Giannis to make quicker decisions with the ball. I'm okay with him sizing up his opponent when he's on fire, but he needs to either pass, attack or do a handoff. The other stuff I think clicks when he's in rhythm, his FT shooting is better, his shot is better, when he makes quick decisions.
