Yes we need a 3 and D player to start and on to come the bench… those are the missing pieces…. RJ Barrett Fournier McBride can go for Brown Or OG …. And we can still use picks for a key 3 and D piece off the bench.. Randle as a 3rd option would be an amazing lineup

Browns not going to happen but they might be able to get both George and Poole. Don’t know if either makes them much better.
It would be smarter to make trades with Detroit, Dallas and Washington and dangle their own picks. Three quality bench guys (bullock, Bogdanovich and Kuzma in a sign and trade) would make them markedly better without giving up their own picks. Then they can swing for the fences at the trade deadline with their own picks and try to acquire someone like
KAT or Zion, both of whom are beat up enough where their teams might choose to start over with the rest of their roster.
It wouldn’t even surprise me if Ainge would be interested in a mega-package for Markkanen.
Whatever it is the Knicks need to monetize these picks in the next 6-12 months and move away from Randle.
Giannis isn’t on the market.

If the Knicks can get Jayne Brown, Jordan Poole, and Joel Embiid in a trade to give up Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Mitch Robinson, and most of their future #1 draft picks. The Knicks will be unstoppable in the NBA next season.
