Victor Wembanyama will be an elite player in the future and will become a future MVP. The praises are warranted.

Giannis isn’t terrified. He looks like he admires Wembanyama’s potential. Like “ooo that boy gonna be something.” Type of deal.
Lebron did warn the league about Curry.
Of course the star players are worried. Wemby is a walking mismatch. When he gets accustomed to the NBA, he will be be a 7'4'' three level scorer while initiating the offense. On defense, he will be a great on the ball defender and he is going to get a ton of block shots from just doing that. But on top of that, he will be slapping many shots away from the weak side. He has a high basketball IQ, a great work ethic and he wants to win. There are no weaknesses to his game that I see. He has to put on a little muscle but in today's NBA that is not as much of a concern as it was in the past. Most people say Steph Curry was the last player to really change the game with the range and frequency of his shots. I think Victor will change the game on defense. How is anybody going to get a shot off in the paint against him? On offense he always has space to get his shot off especially if he gets his fadeaway going. In NBA history, a new type of big man has always changed the game we see on the court. For you NBA historians out there George Mikan was so dominant they widened the lane from 6 to 12 ft and deployed a shot clock for the first time so an opponent could not play keep away from Mikan. Wilt Chamberlain dominance caused the league to widen the key even more to its current 16 ft. I see Victor being so dominant in the paint on both sides of the court. The sheer mass of Mikan and Chamberlain changed the game. I think the sheer length and athletic ability of Wemby could cause the NBA to pause and think what they can do to make Spurs games more competitive because when Victor fills out and gets used to the rigors of an NBA season, watch out!
Its a stretch to say Giannis looks terrified. I would definitely say he looks concerned. But lets not get it twisted. Giannis is gonna be ready for him.
The only way of scare someone if is you can avarage 40 otherwise it dosnt matter if you are a 7,1 who can shoot 3 like curry if you are avaering 30 points gianis and the top guys are right there with you at the end the score is the only important no the way you score but hey just me talking
