I want to any one of these fucking people talking about the MVP award this year, or Jokic for that matter, to play through that knee injury and we'll THEN get to compare it to Embiid. We just saw Embiid real game looks like when defense is played. Media made star. Based on what Embiid say's at press conf's I never want to play with him. Just not a team player. Worse Media made super star ever. Media is so bad at there job. Miss the old days where Media report on stars not try to make them. Harden played a lot better then I ever thought he would in the series. No game 7 with out him.
A coach can only do so much. At the end of the day he can’t put the ball in the basket.

for as good as embiid is, his game is easier to gameplan relatively to other superstar players. That with doc rivers being your coach is a recipe for disaster

The sixers needs an adjustment , this season was disappointing and it started me to realized that James Harden is still the guy from the rockets , with his playoff choking again. And then Joel ? Having an MVP Season in the regular season / playoffs , as i predicted that Embiid winning the mvp.
But , then it's very disappointing since they are cold from game 7 . Too much bricking shots is like the game 6 GSW.
And of course , Doc Rivers . One of the best if not worst coaches who always loses in a 3-1 Series Lead , all the time in his career. Not making the adjustments from any plays in his mind. The GM should fire the coach and find another one .

Doc is like D’Antoni. They have a rep of being elite coaches but somehow itcarries through time. Some gms are the same as we look at the Sixers, Nets and Mavs. There is a seismic shift in the league and most of the casual fans are blind to it.
one thing I don’t see many people pointing out is that Embiid, even tho he is good at defense, he isn’t nearly as good as he should be. In the playoffs and specially in these type of games you need a guy to anchor your defense. You may not score as many points, but if you keep winning you will get the praises. Look at AD. He has a deep offensive bag, but he is barely averaging 20 ppg, and yet people are not shitting on him because he is that guy defensively. Embiid, who once was someone that people talked about his defensive upside, has not lived to those claims.

Was it really a choke job if the other team is far better? This shouldn't have even gone 7. Especially when you consider Embiid didn't play game 1 and was playing hurt.
I think Philly has bad culture
Think about all of the bone-headed moves Sixers management has made over the years, starting with the Andrew Bynum trade, moving along with drafting Ben Simmons and Markel Fultz with the number one pick, drafting Okafor with the third pick, passing on Jason Tatum, losing Jimmy Butler in favor of a max contract for Tobias, etc. etc. Whatever you think about Embiid and Harden, and even Doc Rivers, it is management that has screwed this team.
Embiid should send that trophy with an apology to Jokic. The real MVP.
Fire fox, keep Embiid and harden. TRADE HARRIS HES the second highest paid players. Hire Monty or Nick nurse they’ll be fine.
“Tobias Harris over me ?!?!?” Such a foreshadowing moment for the 76ers organization… besides talent Jimmy Butler is one of those players that could’ve genuinely lit a fire under Embiid in moments like these & make him realize nobody can do ANYTHING against him when he’s focused & aggressive on the court.. Harden shrugs his shoulders & calls it a game when times get tough & Embiid followed suit 🤷🏾♂️

Sixers need a much better ran offense. Doc hasn't made an adjustment all season. He tries to masks Embiid's weaknesses instead of working on them. Soo much else wrong fundamentally , Embiid has to stop with the KD style , and watch some of the greats and how they got to the rim. Embiid wrongfully believes that that playstyle is outdated. I got hope cuz I mess with Embiiid and Maxey , but Doc isn't the answer for any franchise.
Also can't ignore that Embiid isn't like other guys , basketball wasn't a boyhood dream for him so I wonder if motivation is something he lacks because he seems like that at times , yet I always see the gif of him crying in 2019, which showed he obviously cared alot.
It is amazing to me that Tatum was hitting 3s and 2s over the 7 footer Embiid? 😂
