    Damn. Now that the shock is over. Good on him! Surprised the Bucks went for a kind of unproven coach when you have Nurse, Monty, and Kenny availible. He does have long assistant coaching experience though. Hoping it all works out

    I can’t help wondering what that interviewing process was like for the Bucks. Did they ask Nurse about Griffin? Did they ask Griffin about Nurse?

    Happy for Adrian though! I didn’t feel like he was going to be our selection, and so glad that he’s getting his shot rather than having to end up as an assistant on another staff somewhere.

    Bucks fan here, how good is this guy tactically? What’s in strong points/shortcomings that you guys know? Is he good head coaching material (sorta like what Darvin Ham was for us)?

    This seems super risky from our side so everyone from our side are j trying to learn what we can. Seems like Giannis wanted him tho, so can’t complain too much even though I did want us to push for Ty Lue

    What a great opportunity for Griffin as he gets to coach one of the greatest players in the game today. He’s been a really good assistant coach and has been building up to this role. I wish him all the luck in the world.

    A part of me thought the Raptors would take a similar path with this coaching search as the last with Nurse’s replacement already being in house.

    Kind of glad they didn’t I think the team needs a re-start as much as possible. Get some fresh ideas in there.

    That said happy for Griff hope he does well (except against us)

    I’m happy for Griffin. I’m also happy for the Raptors. I think we need a new voice and mindset for this Raptors team. I was surprised by reports that the Raptors were supposedly retaining Griffin and that he was the favorite for the HC job. I think this makes Masai really have to evaluate the team more and the direction going forward.
