Looking back at the Zach Lavine Trade Deadline Rumor. What are our thoughts now on the deal?
I remember seeing this deal at the trade deadline and getting really hyped at the potential haul we could get back for Zach. What do you guys think about the package?
I thought the rumor was fake? Nothing wrong with it.

3 FRPs out of the lottery and 2 mid players in Grimes and toppin. Our rebuild would essentially be 5th year coby white and 4th year PDub, toppin and sophomore year grimes.
And we most likely wouldn’t have had our pick given that we still would’ve had Demar and Vuc.
Edit: The Knicks have a lot of other picks than their own and it was rumoured to be a future Milwaukee, pistons and their own pick which all are worthless since they’re either out of the lottery or heavily protected

I’m game for it. This team is going nowhere with Zach. And if we do this we best be sending off Demar in another package and letting Vuc walk. Completely blow it up and go full on rebuild. Give Pat the keys and see how he can drive. I’d rather this than another year of chasing the play in with the current core.

Dodged a bullet in my opinion but idk. Just because thjs last season was a disappointment doesn’t mean this would have been the right move for us.
