I love AB. Don’t love his fit in Dallas. If it were the start of the year team that would make more sense. But with Kyrie here also Mavs would have to trade down rather than making this pick.

I think it’s more so he would be a great fit with Hardy and Green off the bench. That would be a good way to build a team but Mavs don’t have that luxury due to all the fuck ups of the previous years. Too many holes in our starting lineup to draft a guy who will come off the bench. This pick pretty much has to land us a starter either through trade or a player who’s ready to contribute right away

He’s definitely one of the better perimeter defenders in the draft and has great size and speed to guard 1-3. Im always a fan of two guys who can facilitate on the floor at the same time. But his half-court offense is too much of a concern to rely on him for what the Mavs have planned

I wouldnt mind him at 10. The only problem is that he cant shoot that well. I mean its not like we need more shooters or if we draft him we lose a shooter. According to him Arkansas didn’t prioritize shooting cause the whole team couldn’t shoot. Hes one of the best defenders in the draft so sign me up.
