  1. "we dont need to go down that road" says the loser LOL TF YOU MEAN. HE DOUBLE DRIBBLED AND TRAVELED LMFAO

  2. Same reason why Bam got a Tech. The rules have so much grey area they can call what they want to call when they want to call it to help whatever narrative the nba want to push

  3. Neither Mazzulla or Spoelstra called a timeout with 40 seconds to go. Are head coaches becoming allergic in calling late timeouts? It got Budenholzer fired.

  4. if the heat can do what they did on defense from 3 last night and jimmy and bam don’t go from 9-37 they WILL win

  5. Everybody Travels in the NBA these days. Never gets called anymore… Love Tatum, But, he's one of the most blatant. Takes 3 or 4 steps driving to the hoop.

  6. I think the reason why they added a few tics of a second was because the refs knew that if Butler made all 3 of the free-throws to take the lead, it would've felt like they cheated the Celtics (it would've felt like Heat only won because of those free-throws.) So refs thought "ok let's add a few more tenths of a second to the Celtics and if they make a game winning shot good for them." The Heat still have to stop them one more time and it will end on a basketball shot.
That's my theory because I know the history of the NBA with refs trying to make-up for calls, Superstar calls, the crowd influencing calls. All that make me think that could be the reason.

  7. I bet majority of people couldn't tell if White's shot counted except Derrick, Horford, and Brown. Derrick was underneath the basket, so he could see the light go off after he released the shot. Horford and Brown were standing in the paint and you can see them raise their arms gesturing the shot counted.

The naked eye can not tell the difference from a 0.1 shot. It's like a dead-heat in horse racing. You need replays. If no replay, most people would not be able to tell. I sure didn't the first few seconds after it happened. It happened so fast. People saying they knew it counted are probably lying since hindsight is always 20/20.

Pritchard was sitting at the sideline and you didn't see him celebrate. He wasn't sure either from that angle and he's behind the backboard. Joe Mazzulla admitted he wasn't sure it counted. The one with the quickest eye is Horford. In a March game in Philly when Tatum hits the game winner, Horford was the first to gesture the Embiid halfcourt heave didn't count.

You need to have Superman reflexes to see 0.1 differences with the naked eye. Nobody was really sure until they saw the replay in slow-motion. Then it became clearly obvious.

  8. At this moment you could hear a pin drop in south beach. After all that p diddy stuff jimmy was doing.

“Any ball player out there that want to be an ball player and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the main player trying to be all in your highlights, all on the court dancing… come to Boston!”

  9. It was added to give the Celtics the for sure win and no other reason sports has become a rigged joke at this point 😂

  10. Because hes got nothing to say!!! And he thinks there's no point if not!!! So sick of this arrogant stubborn insecure loser. The best thing the team could do is send Mazulla out for coffee. Best thing Mazulla could do is send himself out for coffee at the end of games. Thinks he's the Einstein of coaches. I'm happy the Celtics might actually right THEMSELVES enough to win in spite if the coaching but disappointed that if the do it will give management an excuse to bring him back mostly just to save face

  11. Jimmy Butler stayed at the free throw line the last 3 minutes of the game. Boston was almost screwed out of winning that game.

  12. regardless seems like the NBA, is trying to make up for the Lakers getting swept.. they already losing tons of money for not having a Lakers vs Celtics finals, so i guess the next best thing is to make sure Celtics make it to finals and help them secure a championship .. the story will be Celtics now win their 18th championship and the Lakers are at 17 … the champion ship trophy tie breaker finals would of been the better story to write for history so they going with the next best thing hahaha

  13. Have to wonder what side of the coin it ends up being, will the heat crumple or will the Celtics let go of the rope because I can see each side after such an emotionally draining game.

  14. How can people who cover sports, know nothing about the actual sports they cover.

Didnt we all watch the heat/knicks series.

They same thing happened. And we learned that the foul counts when the ref blows his whistle and signals.
Not when we think the contact occurs.
The ref blew his whistle and signaled between the 2.2 and 2.5 sec mark.

For them to go back and see that on replay but still put the clock to 3 seconds, is obviously to help the Celtics.
Theres no way to possibly mess that up by accident.

And Jimmy Butler did not double dribble. He lost the ball and picked it up. He didnt dribble it again.
This is why he tried to shoot it because he couldn't dribble again

  15. This is a basketball discussion. Why would would Tim shut down Brian on discussing the travel? I wanted to hear that. What a terrible discussant

  16. Heat got robbed and unfortunately they will miss the finals bc of it
