I’m not confident after this game. They attacked Jamal all game and it was working and later on with Rui on Jokic AD was allowed to play help off of Gordon/Green. Leaving him in the dunkers spot plays right into their scheme.
The Lakers are way more flexible. Our bench was struggling. I was defending Green, but Is he playable this series? Is it time for Watson? How to get more out of Gordon? His rebounds late game were critical, but there has to be a better way of using him to pull AD out of the paint. Jokic / Murray / MPJ / KCP were amazing, but is that sustainable? I just hope Malone has some tricks up his sleeves and God that game was killing me at the end. Do we really have to wait for the game to end before we get adjustments?
Btw. God bless Bruce Brown. He makes me have hope in the bench.

Lakers will lhave Rui guarding Jokic all game 2. Hopefully, Jokic figures things out between now and then. Have to protect home court and steal one in L.A.
Letting AD roam and block Jok while rui or whoever guards is dangerous. We have to find a way to beat that defense. I think pull AD and KCP hits 3s is the way

Nuggets now winning like this, Lakers were getting layup/deserved FT/open 3P, from simple LeBron drive/post up, that's ORTG somewhere around 150…very replicable…the whistle is only gonna get worse…they need to fix stuff

I have respect for this Lakers team. The way they were mesmerized by Jokic at times, you could see it in their eyes and reactions.
we should put mpj,Jamal,bruce brown,kcp,, Jokic and take out gorden of the starting lineup I know it sounds silly but it looks like the Lakers plan to double Jokic with ad standing at rhe rim then we should capitalise with the best shooter's we have so they will not be able to double anybody or Gordon needs to start hitting open 3's but I doubt he would
Just keep in mind, Denver won. 1 win, 3 to go.
My concern isn't Hachimura or the switches on LeBron. That can be figured out. The worry is the contributions from CB and Duncle. They were useless on offense – six players had to carry the whole load. That has to change – even 10-12 points from those two change the game and make it a comfortable win. Six on their own cannot last the whole series.

Lakers Fan here. This game was awesome. I went to take a walk and you guys were up 10 and then we made it a 3 point game, that was crazy Jokic with a clutch 3 not really being talked about. Lebron had bad plays at the end, a bad 3, then loses the ball to Jokic and then he didn't foul.

You guys feel a little too enamoured with Jokic's performance. I'm more concerned moving forward. He didn't have a great game. He had 3 of the best quarters I've ever seen, and then seemingly the Lakers solved him in the 4th. Offence usually has the advantage early and then defence makes adjustments as the series goes on. Plus the Nuggets looked more tired playing in Denver. Hopefully the can make adjustments too (like getting AG out of the dunkers spot), but for a win this did not feel good.
Better to win bad game than lose good one.
