This coach should have known DLo was gonna be shut down by KCP even before the series begun. His lack of vision is the only thing about him that scares me for the next few years. Hire Frank Vogel or Jason Kidd to consult before any series begins next year.
I hope the Lakers never get Kyrie Irving because there is so much drama that will come with him it is not worth it I know that he is an excellent player but he's not worth it because of all the problems he will bring that would disrupt the whole team and the audience know what what I mean!!!
I'm in my 40s, I don't have that same dislike for the Celtics. The height of my dislike was during the Kobe and Magic years. Not as much anymore.

I think what the Lakers need is an A1 player since Lebron can not carry a team on his back anymore and Kyrie is not the solution.I think Dame Lillard will fit the bill to a tee. AD can never be the A1 guy.
Sign vincent at PG to back up D-Lo. Sign Gary Harris or Josh Richardson for SG behind AR.Sign watanabe to add depth at the wing. Biggest question mark is still at the center position

Given the east has been in this hard-fought series I think the nuggets might sweep based on rest and prep beyond them just being better.
FIRST ORDER OF business to understand the Lakers off season is the Cap goes up to $134 mil and the tax level at about $161 mil. With or without considering a sign and trade the Lakers can free up nearly $65 mil by releasing or not resigning DLO BEASELY BAMBA and even Dennis Schooder. By giving RUI and REEVES a $15 mil per year contract thats 30$ mil plus the 10$ mil from the bumped salary cap remaining. LAKERS lost in the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS. Its not like they got outted in the first round with literrhalf a season to mesh. AD needs a good back up both KELLY OLYNICK and even bring in WHITESIDE would be a minimal investment. FRED VAN FLEET is a availble and so are role olayers loke Josh HART GARY TRENT Jr BUDDY HEILD. Lakers lost agaunst DENVER because of their transition defense and a bigger body against Jokic
Yeah Lakers should have three centers at 7ft and three proper power forwards at 6'10/6'11. They only have 1 Center in Bamba and I think i'm not sure I want to keep him but could play as second or third center. AD isnt even what I call I real Center but he is a real PF and its too obvious to me.
AD needs to lock in on his nutrition and off-season workouts because he doesn't seem like someone that works hard. Jokic was in better shape than AD and he outweigh him by 30-50llbs
I hope kelly oubre is on Lakers radar. I'd spend my full level exempt on him in a heart beat.
Trevor cheating hard on shady rays
DLO's stock is an all career low right now… we need to sign him with bird rights as long as it's under 24 million. He plays well in the regular season and his trade value will rise through the year when teams are desporate for shooting. Then we can either keep him knowing that he diminishes in the playoffs or trade him for someone we think can help in post season.
DlO for Kyrie is just dumb.. that's not a fair trade, mavs can get a better offer. We would have to give them Rui and AR to even have a shot at a trade and I wouldn't want to lose that depth.
I didnt know seth curry was on the market! Would you guys go after him for putting us over the top. Can he be a good pg for us? Its the cheaper route i think🤷
Maybe if Boston wins, we can quit fooling ourselves about competing for a championship with this roster. Quite frankly most of this roster when it mattered had a bunch of unplayable players

Still can sign FAs, draft and make trades. The above can compete for the 7-9 slot just as easy as the teams of the last 3 years ith AD and lebron. I’m sure they won t do it but it d be nice. If they add irving they get what they deserve. He s good but the baggage with him is a circus and the lakers have had a hard time the last 3 years as it is.
DLo for God sake can not be your point if you don't have a defensive guard next to him. Look at Boston and Denver, Big guards rule, Miami, big guards rule, one small guard who can shoot sure, but Big defensive minded guards rule. Beasley and DLo is a joke together on dee. Lonnie is better than DLo all around just didn't have the draft credibility and played on a mostly tanking Spur team for years. Austin and Lonnie with Dennis off the bench is the baseline, dream is sign Lonnie and Bamba deal both with a pick to Chicago for Caruso. Give Brook Lopez 17 per for two and lets go.
Dlo will get around 20 million in open market.

Smart Lakers aren't pinning hope on getting Kyrie…they are pinning their hopes on keeping Reaves and Rui, then getting a shot blocking center that can shoot 3's and possibly acquiring Anunoby and/or Trent.
Trade AD & DLo for whatever you can get, or keep them and run it bacc upgrade a few shooters. But give Pip Jr & Cole Swider minutes answers 2 problems easy. Pippen Jr can play great defense and Swider is such a nice shooter
