It’s Time For The Denver Nuggets To Be The Main Character…

Despite being the humblest team in the league who’s about to kick off their franchises first ever finals appearance, the mainstream NBA media continues to disrespect the Denver Nuggets. Before examining their humble approach, the shameless blasphemy from talking head clowns, is exposed time after the next.

It’s Time For The Denver Nuggets To Be The Main Character…

  1. I love the Nuggets. I hope they can take a clean sweep in the Finals and prove every single doubter and the NBA media woefully wrong.

  2. Im a casual that mostly watches because i bet. Jokic quickly became one of my favs to watch and i gladly admit that I DONT KNOW BALL.

  3. "not especially interesting" because they arent drama queens? Lmao i love it when i dont know about peoples lives

  4. As a life long sports fan I don't and never have given a damn about big markets I like good sport and good sportsmanship and competition these media heads make me not want to watch hence why they get low ratings only the lowest of the low watch them

  5. It seemed during the regular season, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV had the Lakers on way more than any other team, even when earlier in the season they weren't very good. Even TNT's Charles Barkley wanted them to stop showing the games of a then crummy team.

  6. "Boring" argument is related to Denver and player's personalities, because they are a real team, not a drama/soap opera production. People who claim they play "boring basketball" don't watch Denver as none who watches their games claims that. They are juggernauts on offence and have very good team that plays together.
Sadly, people who are on TV prepare themselves for TV shows by browsing player's twitter/instagram. They don't watch games and in the end, they don't know what to talk about when it comes to Denver. I accepted they are ignorant and bad at their jobs and I prefer to listen to people who actually watch NBA like I do.

Thank you for a good video 🙂

  7. I learned the hard way as a LA Clippers Fan back in the Bubble. I I respected the team and my lil bro always talked highly about MPJ, After they destroyed my Clips, I look forward to watching them when they play our division.

  8. The Nikola Jokic Jamal Murray Nuggets will have to win like the MJ Scottie Bulls Stephen Curry Klay Thompson Warriors Tim Duncan David Robinson Spurs Shaq and Kobe Lakers to be the main headline in the NBA🤔

  9. Great video! And there is enough content that it could have been an hour long! Not complaining though! ❤

  10. @7:32…Brian Windhorst spewed literally the dumbest NBA take ever! Yes, the Lakers get swept yet were impressive in getting a giant broom shoved up their collective asses, courtesy of the Nuggets?! Windhorst is a clown.

  11. well…
when a team like the Nuggets are refered to as "Villains" and basically "side characters" in the Lakers' "main storyline".. you know you're in the USA…

I can give you the story of the Lakers' season in three words: "They were sh*t".. they have been a bit sh*t for a while now.. therefore they deservedly got swept, and I mean SWEPT, by the most exciting TEAM in the NBA for at least the past 4 seasons..
two Conference Finals and now the NBA Finals for the Denver Nuggets, the #1 seed in the West.. playing spectacular TEAM Basketball with a squad they built with/around a "non-athletic" 2xMVP, they drafted in the second round with the 41st pick. who's nothing more or less than the most outstanding part of an outstanding team.. no other All-Stars, Superstars.. nothing..

and all they did to get there? they pass the ball and play basketball with each other.. and of course most anyone in the US, and especially in the NBA, has belittled and dismissed such an approach or call it "villainous".. in Europe they follow them for more than half a decade.. the Nuggets reaching the Finals is already the biggest success in organization history..
if they get the Ring, I hope NBA fans start asking their favored organization why they spend $400m + on not getting a Ring..

  12. The issue here might be a bit bigger here than just about the Denver Nuggets being "boring" but rather how the sports media as a whole has become very small in scale in their overall discourse of sports. ESPN, FOXSports & the rest have become obsessed with analytics and metrics. They're giving the viewers what they want but as a result, they're sacrificing other sports and teams because they won't get the clicks or interest. As a result, they only discuss the same old tiring stories and the same old debates, teams, and players which might get them quick ratings and viewers but it is not sustainable for a long period of time. And as I mentioned they're sacrificing other sports, like Baseball, Boxing, Hockey, Golf, Tennis, Nascar, F-1, and Soccer. And they simply become an NBA & NFL channel. Other teams like the Nuggets will never get a chance to shine or be discussed because by their metrics they're not worth talking about and is not about sports any longer but about ratings and metrics. Like listening to the radio and wondering why today all music sounds the same and the music genre is dead. Sports media is dead too and they've done it to themselves. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if ESPN gets bought by the NBA & NFL. This could also be due to the results and effects of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 that killed independent media and voices on tv and radio.

  13. Kendrick Perkins is the buffoon they hire to make all the dumb takes for them. He didn't come up with that shit himself. Kendrick Perkins is lucky he can feed himself honestly.

  14. The evidence of the incompetence of national media is documented for eternity on their MVP ballots. When comparing Embiid and Jokić Even casual observers can see the differences in class, character ,heart, IQ,will, drive, versatility, dependability and stamina . Statistics also show what should be obvious to unbiased analysts whose job requires eyeballs watch the players . The mvp voters didn’t honor basketball by ignoring these obvious differences.
Jokić’s unassuming demeanor and nonchalant attitude belies the warrior spirit percolating underneath. Like water, he finds the path of least resistance, and is hard to contain.. like a book you must put eyes on Jokić to understand his greatness. The honor of voting for MVP requires watching games . Voters have documented their competence on the MVP ballots for eternity. What becomes obvious to even casual observers was ignored by those voters. If the NBA wants to succeed, they need to stop cheerleader announcers from ignoring the international players. If they don’t, we’ll all watch Eurobasket…

  15. A sports broadcaster would rather watch succession than the Denver Nuggets? Fire her casual azz please. For real.

  16. Is anyone ever going to mention how bigoted the NBA and its fans are towards white players?

  17. Dude Dflow I'm SO GLAD you used the Clip from the DNVR Sports Channel! DNVR is a great Colorado Sports Community with a huge following that continues to grow everyday!

  19. I’m not gonna lie I haven’t watched much Nuggets games outside the playoffs. But the fact that the one dudes argument was basically all their players are boring….that’s literally just being terrible at your job. To just ignore a team because they’re boring no matter how good they are is just terrible journalism
