I dislike that in this Nike era teams change their alternate jerseys every season, because our statement jerseys this year quickly became one of my favorite Knicks jerseys ever
I generally think our alternates over the years have been a mixed bag of “not so good” or “just okay” threads. I think our colors and iconic branding make it hard to innovate (same problem the bulls, lakers, and celtics have) but these jerseys really stood out to me this season. I’m a big fan of navy blue in general, and the contrast it creates with the bold orange along with the side piping gradient are some great design touches
Plus it seemed like we never lost with these jerseys on. I’ll always remember watching Brunson drop 41 in Game 6 in these threads, and it just makes me a little sad we won’t get to see them anymore

Not big on this alternate…the black and orange or the recent black with blue and orange trim are better on the eye…to me.
Would not mind those as the road kit.
Seems like we wore these nonstop in the second half of the season and playoffs. Didn’t want to change what’s working, I guess.
these grew on me super quickly, i like them way more than most of our recent alternates, i just hope any change is an upgrade and not downgrade

I’m not even saying it bc of any rivalry type of thing but the Jordan logos ruin the uni would be so much cleaner with Nike logo

Best of all time is the FDNY jersey. 3M striped and all shit was top tier. 2nd best is the blue 2000 jersey with the black stripe

It’s ok but honestly the Knicks have whack alternate uniforms compared to other teams on the league. This is the fashion capital of the world, it should be better.
I think for us being in what New Yorkers feel is the most innovative city in the US, it’s quite wierd that we’re also so traditional when it comes to views toward alternates. I think we should be trying to radically redesign the alternate every yr.
Now with that said this was truly the best Jersey made in a while. Then again , I liked the ones from the yr prior with the cityscape siding. I’d love to see them expand on that one. But yeah, the ones from this yr are bangers.
