He’s okay but if we can find other talent, I’m good with that too. We do have an extra 2-way contract available.

He was just okay to me. I didn’t see anything worth taking a 2nd look at. Was a solid g league guy, but who isn’t these days.

Did I miss a game he popped off or something?

  3. I want to see him in summer league at least. He showed a strong handle, athleticism and a decent shot. If his playmaking and defense have improved, I think he might become a NBA quality player.

They definitely shouldn’t save him a spot, if we can get vet mins that are impactful even if its a Jared Dudley type I would take that over him

Would like to see him develop in the G league where he gets minutes vs. the bench where he’s getting garbage minutes or DNP’s.

Given our other likely players, a rookie point guard seems like a waste.

There are certain guys that are only able to make that step up to the next level when your throw them in heat of battle. I like the guys instincts on the floor and craftiness. IQ is one of those attributes that makes a player capable of impacting the game from moment to moment.

I think some more quality time in the lab with Pops would do great for his defensive positioning and principles; along with tightening handle. He’s a gamer though, plays in that Lebron and Reaves mode

I think he can be a 3rd string pg maybe after next year. I say keep and develop him on a cheap contract.

Lakers need to actually try player development for once instead of searching for old washed out talent, trying to chase a ring.

He didn’t really contribute. But maybe he’ll have more room to shine if they get rid of his daddy

    I don’t think he’s a nba player

Until he becomes at least a league average 3pt shooter on good volume, he’s a G-league player.

Signing him to another 2-way is fine, but he doesn’t deserve a real roster spot.

He’s a waste of spot. We should give another player a try.

  14. ThisAnswerIsLit

He’s gone. Not good enough for NBA, might be too good for G League. We’ll see him somewhere overseas

  15. Tangentkoala

He’s signed for the next 2 years, no?

If not, all nba teams would have a 3rd slot for 2 way contracts so they’ll give him that then.

  16. TaskFew1324

He looks confident when he’s out there, looks like he just needs a shot.

His dad’s latest comments on MJ just killed his chances lol 🤷‍♂️

Beast in the g league, maybe the style and needs of LA don’t mesh with what he could bring. Imo they should keep him and build him like Reeves, he averaged 22 pt 4 reb a d 5 ast in the g league as a rookie.

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s NBA caliber. Too undersized and not good enough of a playmaker as well

Pippen can remain on our current two way contract, and we will have another two way spot as a result of the CBA.

If I’m mj im inviting him to the hornets just to son his dad and be the bigger guy.
