G.Dick athleticism questions were answered at the Combine. Had the 2nd best shuttle run time at 2.97 sec. Though not a lot of prospects participated in that event, Cam Whitmore did & was 3.26sec
I don't know what this series teaches us. I guess you can argue on the value of shooters, but what does it mean. Miami Statistically Boston is a better 3 point shooting team than Miami. Their offense is totally based on the 3 point shot. And yet Miami outshot Boston from deep by a lot in this series. Heck , Miami was a worse 3 PT shooting team by percentage than OKC.
One thing the series showed is depth matters. Boston only had 7 or 8 playable players.
Martin having the series he had is as statistically bizarre as it would be for Kenny hustle or Poku to have an MVP caliber series, nothing about Martin's history suggested what he did was possible.
The only legitimate shooter Miami's had was Robinson, and he was considered unplayable last playoff, and his contract was considered so bad he has been considered untradable
