The Pistons are one of the NBA’s youngest teams and built around an electric young backcourt in Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey. With the team falling to the fifth pick in the 2023 nba draft after having the NBA’s worst record, a lot of people seemed to think that Detroit was screwed or they had knocked off course. But I’m here to tell you that they are right on track, and can rise up the standings much quicker than people expect. On top of the Cade-Ivey duo, they have a proven 20 ppg scorer in Bojan Bogdanovic. They have multiple intriguing young big men in Jalen Duren, James Wiseman and Isaiah Stewart. And they have the 5th overall pick (I’d suggest Cam Whitmore). On top of all of that, they have $25-30 million in projected cap space and can go after some higher targets like Jerami Grant, Kristaps Porzingis, and Cam Johnson. This team’s future is underrated, and they are right on track to finish their rebuild and reenter the playoffs for the first time since Blake Griffin was on the team. Let me know your thoughts!!!
Thanks for watching, I’m Herm. Have a good one

Let’s go
People are prisoners of the moment. The Pistons need a forward, every team that picks before them either needs a PG or BPA to either trade or develop.
Only player that is a plug and play for the pistons before 5 is Miller(who is the most polarizing player in the top 10). The pistons will have their pick of the best forwards in this draft(Whitmore, Ausar, Walker, Hendricks)
Cade, Ivey, Top Tier Forward, Wiseman, Duren is insane. Easily the most young talent the pistons ever had. trade Bojan for assets or make him the 6th man and use the cap to flood the bench.
I agree with everything Detroit's future is bright. People seem to forget Detroit got Ivey at 5 and Duren at 12 last year so dropping in a deep draft is not that concerning. May I ask a question why does everyone question Ivey's efficiency more than Cade's when Ivey to this point has already been more efficient and especially from the 3pt line? Ivey shot 38% after All Star break. I'm more concerned with Cade.
with no mistakes in the draft and a good free agency pick up detroit will climb up the ladder.
I think Doc Rivers would be excellent choice for a head for the Pistons. I think he could build a really good culture there. This team needs a coach with a voice that set the tone for these young players.
