  1. I’m grateful for all Bob has done but maybe this could be a blessing.
We need a shakeup and I’m sure he had quite a lot of relationships with the guys on the team so that could’ve affected potential trades.
It’ll be interesting who comes in and then what they do to stamp their authority on the team.

  2. Just because I didn't pick Bob as GM at this stage doesn't mean he didn't do the job well respect to Bob Myers just at this level there's no easy decisions that Bob can be asked to do here.

  3. Think he chose his relationships over money. Specifically dray, klay, Poole. He know some hard decisions coming down that neither would like/accept.

  4. Mike Dunleavy Jr. Was just drafted too high but I wouldn't say he was a bad player!!!!Mike Dunleavy Jr dropped 35 in game 3 of the playoffs with the bulls. So I don't agree he was a bad player just because you don't feel he could replace Myers.

  5. Myers seems like a really likable guy and I'm happy that he walked away from Lacob. I respect his decision.

Myers' biggest issue ultimately came down to divided loyalties. There was the Lacob camp, the Kerr camp and the core three camp which has some overlap with the Kerr camp. In the end, I feel like he was being marginalized and took on the role of counselor/friend.

The Wiseman and Kuminga picks stuck out like sore thumbs. They weren't fits in the short term and the short term was what created stress and panic.

Kuminga could be great but Davion Mitchell and Franz would have been great fits from the jump.

Those picks represent the lack of communication between all three camps.

Was it Myers fault or something systemic. I think it's a little of both.
Lastly, I don't think that picking Jacob Evans should slip under the wire.

I watched a lot of Evans and for the life of me, I couldn't see what Myers saw in him. He couldn't shoot, couldn't really pass and was ok as a defender.

Meanwhile, Jalen Brunson just came off a hot NCAA finals where Nova took the chip. That pick/non-pick became a butterfly effect. If Brunson pops there's likely a chance they don't draft Poole.

I give him credit for Poole though. I can see why he drafted him. He nailed a big shot in the NCAA semis and I could see him flash some game in Vegas during the Summer.

I think it's a tough gig working for Lacob and I don't envy the next GM.

  6. Cy. I'm certainly no sexist or rank and file SJW but what if Bob's wife was a 6.5 vs a 9.5? Would she be worth less the time he could spend with her?

  7. Final comment. Your share about your childhood was touching. In spite of what happened you grew up to be a truly great spirit. You've done well.

  8. Did Steph Curry have a role in the trade of James Wiseman? How did he feel about the trade?

  9. The Warriors are at a crossroad and Meyers can see that very plainly. With Kerr not aligned and Lacoub being more hands on who could blame him for opting out regardless of money. It would help if the next GM has some familiarity with the team as they will have t figure out what to do with Poole and Draymond. I would not mind seeing Poole go. Trade for Cam Thomas to be the shooting guard on the second unit. His defense is certainly no worse than Poole and he can drop at least 20 points coming off the bench. By the time Curry retires he will be more than ready to lead the first unit. I think Kerr has another year to prove he can bring along young players. If not he will be gone.

  10. I expect to be underwhelmed with their moves this offseason like I was last season after they won the finals. Hopefully I’m wrong.

  11. Bob Myers will always be fondly remembered by Dub Nation and his run of success may and hopefully land him in the HOF. But now with him gone, maybe we can now get rid of Draymond. I also remember being a kid sitting the nosebleed seats in the 70's or listening to Bill Kings doing the play by play when I couldn't attend games.

  12. Joe, the owner, is a chickenshit… He said he didn't know what was going to do, but I don't believe him!!! He's afraid of warrior fans hating him for doing what he already knows he's going to do. He should stand up on his hind legs, grow a pair, and say what's going to do.
