REPORT: Chicago Bulls & Nikola Vucevic Are Having “Extension Conversations” Before NBA Free Agency



Chicago Bulls Rumors: NBA Insider Shams Charania reports that the Bulls and Nikola Vucevic are having “extension conversations” leading up to 2023 NBA Free Agency. Vucevic averaged 17.6 points per game and 11 rebounds per game this past season and is slated to be one of the top available NBA free agents this summer.   1. Okay, you guys are horrible at analysis. Why would the Bulls purposefully let Vuc walk? The most they will have in salary cap if they let him walk and all the other free agents go I about $16M. I get it, you don’t want Vuc, even though he’s the best option you have for a center when it comes to free agents. But let’s say you can get someone better, then that would be with a trade, right? So why not sign and trade him at least, if you don’t plan to keep him. The only way to let him walk is if he doesn’t want to stay for a decent salary of something like $22M or less. How many other players, let alone centers played all 82 games and netted you the same production? Do you guys know how salary caps work? It doesn’t seem like you do
