I always thought a Wing is a “swing player” that could play the 2 and the 3 (SG/SF). Paul Pierce is a wing. He can played the 3 and versatile to play the 2 all day. Klay Thompson is a wing. If Golden State plays Steph at 1, and Poole at 2, they just slide Klay over to the 3. He’s a wing.
I personally can’t recall ever seeing Donovan or Wade playing the 3. Maybe Wade in Miami if they they were running Lebron at 4 and Bosh at 5, but in a line up like that Mike Miller would be the Wing as the 3 and leave Wade at 2. Or Ray Allen play the 2 and Wade the point.
Half the show was them trying to define a “wing” as if the NBA isn’t completely position-less nowadays and it literally contributed ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
It depends on what version of the Cavs show up. Streaky 3 point shooting+ The Cavs keep digging themselves in hole only to try and get out in the 4th quarter, which is fine against the pistons or hornets but not against the Bucks or Celtics
