    300 million dollar investment going to go so so well

    Love hearing Caleb and Duncan talking to NBA media this week lol

  4. Raptors2017champs

    ESPN: Caleb Martin says that Jayson Tatum getting injured was “always the plan”

  5. If shit like this doesn’t get him in the gym and working on his handle 24/7 then nothing will.

    I’m not holding my breath though. It’s been years and there’s been minimal improvement.

    So what I’m hearing is Jaylen needs to play basketball running backwards.

  7. Brad-Stevens

    I mean, that’s the game plan for a lot of guys

    The game plan for Jimmy is send him left

    The game plan for Lowry is send him right

    More exaggerated due to Jaylens hand being banged up

  8. EggplantBusiness

    As someone who french is the main language, seeing a name like Dan LeBatard confused me

  9. MrBuckBuck

    Let’s hope Deni Avdija is watching this.

  10. Warriors had the same game plan last year. Jaylen brown really need to do something about it

  11. “Jaylen Brown sucks?”

    Caleb Martin: “always has 🔫🔫🔫”

    The league knows this. He still made all
    NBA and was 1 game from back to back Finals appearances.

    Every player has a weakness. Every player has a scouting report

    When LeBron was in Miami, and they beat the Knicks after Amare broke his hand and played with it in a cast, Dan asked Spo if, on the last play call, the play design was to go at Amare’s injured hand?

    Spo laughed and said “it wasn’t the hand we wanted to go at.”

    Dan seems to frequently miss the point to the game plan / plays, or add too much context.

    I can’t resist posting this again. It’s so crazy to me. He had eight g7 turnovers.

    * 1 charge
    * 1 moving screen
    * 1 bad pass
    * 5 left hand dribbles

  15. Toast2Carnage

    How many cases has their been of an All NBA SG/SF not having good handles?

  16. Resident-Armadillo-6

    Even the announcers said brown can’t go left.

    Close to 10 turnovers solo wtf.

  17. thisradlifeMD

    Don’t let us dribble with our left

  18. angel2timez

    I honestly thought lebatard was a lebron meme for a good min lol

    Boston cannot supermax a player with such obvious weakness that teams exploit every playoff

    “Jaylen is gonna be all right” – the worst doctor in the world

  21. skquidward

    Jaylen Brown dribbles down a road, and the path diverges into two paths. Dribble right to become Kawhi. Dribble left to become Jordan Poole.

    Frfr they lose bc Jason & jaylen can’t play make or play off each other. They also need more shooters a Al horford replacement in the coming yrs & a playmaking shooting pg. maybe tre

  24. Thuduke

    We got no handle rabdle, what do we have for jaylen?

    I’m sorry, but the amount of excuse making for Tatum is hilarious. Giannis won a championship on a broken ankle. Tatum can’t play a pivotal game 7 on a rolled ankle? He could only put up like 12 shots? You gotta go out shooting man, you can’t go down like that.

    The copium in the Celts sub with this exact same story is fucking absurd. The common response is, “well duh, the game plan is always to send a player to his weak hand.”

    Okay, but do those other players instantly become a turnover machine? Or are they maybe just a little less efficient using that hand? These things are not the same.

    Add the fact that multiple assistant coaches are now bouncing to join Ime in Houston just to have 80% of the sub say, “well, Joe’s gonna want his own guys anyway. This is actually good for us.”

    I mean- I get that every team sub partakes in a bit of copium when it comes to their own squad, but the Celts sub is the personification of the “this is fine” meme with the dog in a burning building.

    Sure- pay two guys 70% of the cap so we’ve got nothing left for solid role players for the rest of the roster. This will be *especially* helpful when one of those two guys can’t fucking dribble or pass, and makes the same stupid mistakes time and time again.

    Sure- we’re fine with the 35 year old rookie coach who got exposed all playoffs filling out the coaching staff with his people. If we’re lucky, we’ll get an entire *roster* of coaches who don’t know how timeouts work!

    It’s hilarious how people act like Tatum had a fractured ankle or something. He deserves just as much blame.

  28. Van-garde

    Leaving Tatum in after the injury was a poor move. Idk if he wanted to stay in, but he scored like a third of his avg points, couldn’t stay in front on defense, and his focus was split between winning and pain.

    Plus, getting another able body out there would lightened the load for JB.

    Superstars gonna superstar, but that game was over at the first whistle.

    Is Dan LeBatard just LeBron wearing a mask and going undercover as a reporter? LeDisguised as LeBatard?
