Lakers don’t have the picks or assets to move for a player like Steph even with a 3rd team involved
Since 2020 the media been tryna get rid of the Warriors.
Myers was disappointed at kerr for not developing Wiseman. He said " What good is getting a seven-footer when the coach is not playing him" Myers recognized he made a huge mistake by extending Poole. He must recognize the core Trio of Curry , Thompson and Green is not good enough anymore for champ and he hates the dirty job of breaking them up. The team is hampered by huge salary cap and he knows this team is no way out. He walks away from being pinned as main culprit. This team is done winning champ and he knows it.
Bob Myers did not draft Steph or Klay.
Even if Lakers wanted Steph, how exactly are they going to get him? GS will demand a king's ransom that the Lakers don't have. Steph is still at the top of his game and you can argue that he's even better than he was a few years ago.
