Is Ingram eligible for an extension this offseason?

I was reading through [this explanation](https://www.sportsbusinessclassroom.com/when-is-a-player-eligible-for-an-extension/) of extension rules, but I’m still wondering. Apparently he can be extended on the third anniversary of his last contract signing, which was November 2020. But that was the weird pandemic year, so that was technically three offseasons ago. I know they were doing some things to adjust the calendar for the season going until October in 2020, so does that factor in here? Like can Ingram be extended this summer, or does it have to wait until November?

Also, what salary number could he be extended at? I tried reading up on this but idk about the technical details with all this stuff.

I’m not sure the number value, but he can extend for up to 3 years this year. I’m sure the “3 year from last contract” isn’t hard in stone due to the COVID year being delayed. That will probably be moved up to the normal preseason extension window.

Honestly I’d say 35mil for three years, seeing as cj is getting 30mil and Zion is on 35ish, means we can still afford to have a decent roster without going to far into the luxury tax and it takes into account his injury history, and to make it slightly more appealing you put in increases like if he makes all-nba etc
