Seemed inevitable with all the disrespect Shannon has dealt with quietly for years on-air.
Most of these shows are trashy with people like Skip playing cringy “characters” but I genuinely like Shannon Sharpe as a personality. Maybe it’s because Skip comes off as purposefully obtuse but it definitely serves as a foil to make Shannon look good. A random thought but I’d be curious to see him and Charles Barkley do a sports talk show together. That would either go amazingly or amazingly bad.
Not gonna lie, I watch them every weekday and I find them entertaining. Would be weird seeing someone else on shannon’s chair.

Everyone, including Skip, knows about Shannon’s brother and his HOF potential before the injury. Shannon having that career while his brother never got the chance must have been hard, but a huge motivator for him to not leave anything on the bone out of love/respect. People, including Shannon, still honor Sterling as a HOF’er cut short and likely more talented than his brother. Out of respect/love, not to takedown Shannon.
So skip taking personal shots at Shannon’s retirement age and devaluing Shannon’s achievements as an all-timer is probably one of the bigger lines to cross. Especially in a debate about Brady, who hasn’t needed shameless Stans for years now. He’s GOATed, regardless of criticizing a bad year or a bad game.
Shannon literally gave Skip two chances to backpedal in December and reframe his point without disrespecting the career of a friend/colleague to win an unrelated and pointless argument. I stopped watching undisputed but i really liked them as a duo especially when they werent playing up arguments. When they are just 2 friends talking or joking around its very enjoyable
I really enjoyed watching Undisputed daily. Skip and Shannon were a good duo. Hopefully the next person to debate Skip will do well.
