[Markelle Fultz] on the 76ers, “I wish I had a chance to help them because I really feel like I could’ve helped them win if they were patient and let me get healthy.”

Of any player in the process era, I really think the 76ers gave up way too soon on him. He had the yips more than anything coming into the league and they traded him for peanuts.

did the motorcycle/BMX conspiracy theory ever get debunked?

  2. Alternative_Leg9446

Fultz slipped under the radar and was really damn good this past season.

Imagine what the 6ers would look like if they hadn’t completely fucked up two consecutive number 1 overall picks

  4. Automatic_Entry4709

I wasn’t against us trading him. But we traded him for a shitty old player, and a 1st. This was the number one pick, and was definitely injured. I don’t know why we were so keen to offload him for nothing.

Regardless of how good Fultz. Philly fucked up with Tatum.

Yeah whatever, congrats on shooting over 30% from 3 for the first time ever and playing over 20 games for the 2nd time in 6 seasons.

Would he even be top 20 at his position? Sixers were under pressure to win every year, they couldn’t have waited.

How good would the F.E.D.S actually be?

  9. evan466

He didn’t have the yips. Stop spreading false narratives.

    >He had the yips more than anything

No. He was actually injured. Many Sixers fans and probably some in the organization thought it was the yips, which is why they were willing to give up on him. If they had treated it like the physical ailment it was, they would have been more patient and let him get healthy.

The pick they got for him was Maxey so I don’t think they’re too mad lol

  12. hes averaged 40 games a season since being traded

  13. EasiBreezi

Check out the Sixers thread. Some vile shit in there

  14. Personal_Fruit_957

He had a medical condition, not the yips

  15. 321mafia

He has stated multiple times he did not have the yips. He was diagnosed with TOS which affected the nerves in his shoulder and his ability to shoot.

Still blows my mind that after everything that has happened, somehow fultz looks to have a better future outlook than Simmons

  17. ViCarly

Waited how long? Maxey is literally already debatably better than him, maybe not even debatably. Philly has been described at least as a contender every year since the trade. How many championship contending teams are waiting on their #1 pick to potentially develop into something special? Mikal is by far the worst Process travesty.

    Ok fine
    Sixers get – Fultz
Magic – DLo all the draft picks
Lakers – Isaac and TObias Harris.

so sick of the yips BS. he had an actual, physical, medical condition.

This was exactly what I said before about Fultz that bugged me. It seemed like he never showed any frustration at not being able to play, or desire to help the Sixers or prove them right for drafting him #1 overall (at least from what I saw). He just didn’t seem to even care, which made me wonder even more about what was really going on with him. At least now it’s coming out a little.

    >He had the yips more than anything coming into the league

Tyler Herro hasn’t played since the first round because of HAD (Hand Avoidance Disorder).

Don’t believe the doctors, it’s nothing to do with a “fracture in his hand”.

  22. KokeyManiago

Wasn’t he the one who asked to be traded? Didn’t he want a fresh start with a new team? at least that’s what I can remember

  23. LoudRise858

Dude is a bottom tier starting caliber player

  24. Damedius33

He’s a better player than Simmons now.

  25. HeHateMe21

LOL mr glass who broke Joel’s face should prob just pipe down

  26. throwawayjoeyboots

Lol he literally quit on the team.

  27. TinTinsKnickerbocker

It took 6 years for you to be a mediocre player. Hate the Sixers but I side with them in this one

  28. HDFiggy

I think the 76ers were just so mad because he broke Embiid’s face

  29. OhlookSILLagain

They were patient…dude is just a Bust.

  30. DrBigChicken

He didn’t have the fucking yips, jfc

  31. swalsh21

Markelle you literally requested out of here after your mom got mad you were benched. Kind of revisionist history.

  32. xjchan1979

Does he still have more 3s in his sixers career than ben?
