He could be a slot receiver for the dolphins.

Felt like I saw him get to the rim in the halfcourt more times in that one series than I’ve seen in the rest of his NBA and college career combined.

They murdered the Celtics with this on 4 (I think) possessions in Game 2 – just 8 free points generated with Bam running point 20 feet from the basket, Jimmy on the bench, and not much else cooking in the Miami offense. That was the margin in the game! Pretty incredible that it kept working throughout the series, and an underrated reason why we won.

bams gotta be best passing big man behind jokic and probably sabonis, right?

Almost every one of these was a good, great, or insane pass from Bam

  6. Duncan beat the contract slander this playoffs

the Bam/DRob connection is awesome to watch.

Those Duncan buckets were like body blows.

One thing I do wonder about is Miami’s offense vs. Denver’s defense. Even with Miami’s best efforts, I still think Denver is gonna generate like 110-115 points on offense. But is Denver’s defense up to the task of keeping Miami under that number? I do think they are, but I don’t think it’ll be super easy.

Even if Nuggets win a quick series like a lot of people are saying, I could very easily see it being like the WCF where every game is competitive.

On the otherhand, anyone remember the ugly looking hook shot/floater by Al Horford in game 7?

Here’s the thing, you need an ELITE rim protector in the paint if you’re playing against Duncan Robinson. I know Al Horford is out there for a lot of these but Duncan Robinson ain’t no Joel Embiid, Duncan is much faster and smarter with finding areas to drive/cut

Hopefully Mike Malone will actually craft a game plan centered around stopping Duncan or the Nuggets are in for a long series

This is how they can stand a chance against the Nuggets.

The Nugs are bigger and more athletic but if the Heat can create mismatches in speed with great off-ball player movement and accurate passing they can be within striking distance.

And we all know if the Heat keeps it at single digit, 2 possession games they can chip away and steal leads.

Some of these bouncing passes from Bam are godlike.

  14. mikecuh

They learned nothing from guarding Curry.

Duncan + Bam 2man game: Awww you’re so sweet

Murray + Jokic 2man game: HELLO HR??????

bam and robinson are evolving into steph and dray

Bam and Robinson have the best chemistry on the team by a long shot and it’s not even close.

I remeber when i was a young teen we went to play against an unkown team of our version of hillbilly type guys (i am from europe), kids that live in a more rural area instead of the city. So we, city boys, went to play there, all happy and shit with our headbands and high socks.

After we saw them warm up our confidence shot even higher since no one on the other side seemed to know how to shoot properly and also didn’t have the best handles.

Yeah, we lost by like 30. They run the entire game, just passing and running and passing and cutting and laying up almost every time, full court pressing as well. We just couldn’t handle the pace, we just wanted to do our little nba dribble moves and shoot a fadeaway and they wanted all the smoke. A real life lesson that day.

The thing that stuck out the most for me was how patient he was finding the right time make his cuts. Couple times looked like the defenders sniffed it out initially only for Duncan to wait just a few secs and eventually gets them.

I love, love, love cuts to the basket. That is what basketball is all about. Movement.
