I’m gonna hate whoever offers him $100M.01

Holy shit he’s good but is he 100 million good XD bron was like rob whatever you do keep AR and AD lol

  3. SanctusXCV

He’s staying. This isn’t FIFA and the Prem with unlimited funds… no is paying him more than that

  4. Midnighthum69

Love the guy but I don’t know about 100 million bro

The White Mamba getting his chicken

100 million is probably fair value assuming his upward trajectory puts him at his postseason numbers.

17 ppg with 46/39/85 splits and high IQ playmaking

He is still a 4th scoring option on a title team though.

The Lakers need a legit 2nd/3rd scoring option. Obviously kyrie would be ideal but it seems like that won’t/can’t happen. FVV is possibly an option.

And then there can be others.

Can’t they sign someone much better for $100M???

That’s tough. Hopefully AR continues to work hard to get better. At 25 a year the only 2gaurd getting paid more than him will be Jaylen Brown. I’m assuming Popovich or another team that hates us will offer him 100 just to limit future moves down the line. It will be a poison pill contract where his last 2years he’ll be getting like 30 something each year. If you add that with AD salary building a team post-Lebron might prove difficult especially if Dlos extension is in the same ball park.

$25M/year really isn’t that much anymore. The salary cap this year is expected to be $134M. 19% of the cap for an above average starter is totally fair.

    He just gave us 16.9 / 4.4 / 4.6 on 46.4% / 44.3% / 89.5% in the playoffs.

    After the all-star break he gave us 17.6 / 3.1 / 5.5 on 57.8% / 44.3% / 85.6%.

Austin played absolutely amazing offensive basketball at a time when we needed every win we could get. I’m 100% sold on Austin.
