Snow: Brad Stevens says he “had nothing but great conversations with Jaylen,” heading into this offseason. He can’t discuss a potential contract extension at this time, but says, “Without a doubt we want Jaylen to be here.”

Yeah if they’re offering him the max there’s no chance he asks out or demands a trade no one has turned down the super max lol

This has been obvious, I’m glad we’re saying it publicly. It really comes down to if brown wants to be here, or turn down 120 million

You know after listening to Joe give interviews all season listening to Brad take more than 4 words to answer an important question is actually kind of nice

Great! Someone in charge with a brain in their heads.

Alright boys looks like we’re confirmed running it back. Let’s predict now, what round will we be eliminated in next year? Gonna start us off by predicting another ECF loss, 6 games this time though.

I’m sick of hearing his Midwestern folksy horseshit, actually.

    Pick one:

    1. Sign Jaylen Brown to a contract

    2. Trade Jaylen Brown for Zion Williamson

    3. Trade Jaylen Brown to the Hornets for Gordon Hayward and second pick

We should be rooting for internal improvement, health, and gaining a quality big.

Grant idk what happens with him

I do too, but not for the heaviest price tag in the NBA.

im ready to be hurt by inconsistent effort, no offense besides 3’s, and absent leadership. bring on year 3. yippee

I guess I’m fine with keeping them together but I’m dubious of ever dominating our way into a championship. We almost fallin backwards into a ring before I think it will be more of the same.

  12. Well he can’t say, “I hate Jaylen” and ruin his trade value.

As long as grant Williams is replaced with someone productive I really don’t care

If I thought Brown has reached his peak and what we have scene is what we will get then I would consider trading him.

However he has the skills but needs to refine them. Start driving to the basket better, better ball handling, work on his mid range game, learn to get an open shot. Plenty of things to work on.

I trust Brad. He’s made good choices so far. I’m worried about the team’s culture/mentality/lack of discipline and Brad should know it better than anyone else. I’m also worried that he’s either too attached to his players or that he’s not willing to cut bait on JB cause he’s a hard worker or something, but if Brad wants Jaylen back then it is probably what’s best for the team.

Sorry guys, but thank fucking god.

I know we haven’t won a ring and that’s the whole point, but I know that this team can. Shit happens. But give these boys time and it will happen.

Marcus and Jays should retire as C’s.

Think about that 2008 chip. It was awesome but it was gone right away. We made one more finals and boom dust. The Jays can take us to multiple finals and can have us in championship contention every single year.

I believe in our boys and y’all should too. Not for this year or next. But always.

Smart JB JT Grant and Rob was the 5+ horford that got us all those playoff wins the last couple of years. I like DWhite and Brog but I think getting away from that core 5 is a mistake. They all play D, they all show emotion; they all have grit. We don’t see it as much with some of the new additions.
