In the long run, this may have been a GOOD trade for San Antonio…
Obviously Raptors fans are happy!

  1. Now that a LOT of time has passed since this trade happened, how do you feel about it now (Spurs and Raptors fans alike)? Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!

  2. Injuries are just part of the game. Heck, GS benefitted from opponents’ key injuries too in all their titles.

  3. Whenever you lose a caliber of player like the Klaw, you don’t get fair value. Still, if he never left we wouldn’t be getting Wemby. I’d say we still came out on top!

  4. The raptors got a championship out of it, but the spurs built a future with this. In the early stages Toronto won this, but long term Spurs did.
Jakob was a nice fit but we got assets for him, same with DD.
We have Keldon out of it.

  5. Great Stream TSR 🩶 🤍 🖤 this is the first time I can remember any draft pick photoshopped in a team jersey with a number to boot before being selected.. its cringy but these are the times now.. I'm lookin forward to 7'5 but I'm a relic of the jinx era

  6. Toronto got a championship so good for them but San Antonio got a boatload in return. AND….Kawhi turned out to be a fragile prima donna so Clips got screwed

  7. With the benefit of hindsight this was a trade that was needed. That said, I miss him. I want him back

  8. We should have beat the GSW when Kawhi originally got hurt! The west has been wide open ever since. I definitely think we could have got one more championship

  9. Great video! I’ve always felt like the Spurs won the trade the moment the decided not to bow to Kawhi and the LA Lakers manipulation tactics. Just sending him to Toronto was a win.

  10. I would give the edge to Toronto Slightly. Kawhi did help them win a ring in all fairness but it was just a one year rental.

  11. Kawhi’s paper knees won this trade for the Spurs

His absolute inability to stay healthy for the Clippers makes me glad we aren’t dealing with it.

Every year Kawhi is injured is another way this has worked out for the Spurs long term.

  12. Kind of reminds me of when we was supposed to trade for Charles Barkley in 92 to pair with Dave but Red McCombs vetoed the trade. Could have possibly won a ring with that pairing, but then would have most likely led to not getting Duncan. In hindsight that worked out and now In hindsight its looking like the Kawhi trade was a win too.

  13. This is me not trying to be rude please please take this as only constructive criticism..

I think you need to update your microphone it’s hard to hear you but that’s it other then that great video
