The Mavericks’ 2023 NBA offseason is fully underway as Mark Cuban and Nico Harrison decide how to improve the Mavs’ roster around Luka Doncic. Since the Boston Celtics lost in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals, the Jaylen Brown trade rumors have begun to heat up. Brown is eligible for a 5-year supermax contract worth almost $300 million, but will Boston offer him that money? The 2023 NBA Draft is also just three weeks away, with the Mavs holding the No. 10 overall pick. According to The Athletic, the Mavericks are unlikely to select Kansas Jayhawks star Gradey Dick with their pick, and would prefer someone more athletic like Taylor Hendricks in that spot.
