  1. TV is a bit of a stretch but Socrates Dergi is probably my favourite sports channel on YT, although it is exclusively Turkish (maybe auto-translate subtitles can help)

  2. HaveSomeFatih

    He talks about:

    * His admiration for Coach Lucas and his oldschool way of teaching; and how much he respects and loves Silas especially in his private life
    * How they developed and learnt a lot together with Jalen and how they call each other and talk about it after games
    * How ambitious he is for the upcoming season and that he’s already started working out for it
    * How hardworking Jabari is and how he refuses to leave the court after practices
    * How he developed his floater and fadeaway shot that’s kinda unique in his way and he says nobody can stop his floater now, even Rudy Gobert. He says he used to think about pushing to the rim often but now he thinks about floater more often
    * He thinks he developed his P&R defense especially in the end of the season and criticizes himself about earlier during the season and admits he couldn’t learn it earlier and he says he’ll work specially for his defense in the summer as well
    * That he feels better playing for the teammates and he thinks he now earned his teammates trust about his playstyle and now they play around his playmaking more
    * He criticizes himself about TOs sometimes and he thinks he should learn to play through simpler options.
    * A funny story about how he declined Ime Udoka’s call since he wasnt added on his list and he thought it’s a spam call that’s very usual in USA, and meanwhile he was expecting the coach to call. Later he apologized from coach Udoka. They’ll soon talk with Udoka as they agreed and he says he likes tough coaches and will work it out with him as well. When asked about Udoka’s probable high expectations from him especially defensewise, he says he’s very coachable player, he’ll like it, and he’ll give it all. He even told coach ‘Push me, get angry at me, I’ll not take it personal it will only motivate me”
    * On his duel with Lebron. That day he felt as if every shot he’ll take was gonna fall in. And he says he’ll never forget that game. At the 2nd period, Lebron told Bryant ”Go to Jalen more, risk his(Alpy’s) shot” and after 2 posessions when his 3pt shoot bounced from the rim and fall in, he talked trash to Lebron ”You were saying he cant shoot, what now?” and he says Lebron replied ”That’s tough” Later he talks about how good defender Lebron is and how they couldn’t stop his 48 points that day
    * When asked about Durant’s words on him. He says he couldn’t even imagine it, the whole NBA experience and he says it’s incredible for him considering he wasn’t seen as an NBA prospect earlier in his life.
    * On playing against Jokic. He says it’s amazing to play against him. He says he played so bad one game against him despite he’s not known to be a good defender. But the last game he played against Jokic he says he played like Jokic against Jokic and it was one of the unforgettable games for him. Later he talks about how impressed he’s about Jokic’s gamestyle and the reasons.
    * He believes Denver has advantage in the finals because they’re well rested and Miami is tired. He says altitude is truly Nuggets’ biggest advantage and it’s really hard to breathe there and how he struggled breathing when they played back to back against Denver in the season.
    * That he struggles a lot against Embiid and he’s too strong, too big and physical to defend, when he’s asked about who he struggles to defend the most.
    * On referees and the calls, he says it’s hard first 2 years with referees as a rookie. He says he used to call them ”Ref” in his first days and his teammates used to keep warning him ”You should call them by their names”. And he says he thinks he’d feel bad too if refs called him ”Player”
    * On his relationship with Hakeem. They couldn’t work together so often this last season especially because he started playing more often and also Hakeem’s personal life. Later he talks about his admiration for him and how his footwork is still incredible
    * Last part of the interview is about the Turkish national team, I’m guessing you’d not be interested.
    * when asked about EG’s interview about developing before leaving the team, he says that EG wasn’t happy with the team in his last season and his words were said with the heat(?) of the loss just after the game and EG always played for playoff caliber teams and he had important roles in those teams and it was tough for him not to have a bigger role with Rockets this last season
    * He thinks he needs to start shooting better, he practices his mid range shots too. He says the coach Silas used to tell him to avoid shooting even if he’s open and he felt more ambitious after that, started working out more and later when his 3 pts starts falling with better percentage the coach told him ”Ok now you can shoot more often”

Well, that’s all. Sorry for my poor English and mistakes I probably did, because I was simultaneously typing these while listening, actually.

  3. EfficientAstronaut1

Silas got cooked hard here lol

  4. Otherwise-Meaning641

It was a great interview. Sharing channel’s comment for non-Turkish fans:
