I totally agree with you.. but to play devil’s advocate, he has a better chance of being on the court than Chet at this point lol. Would rather have a skinny Chet than a fat Zion though. Chet has more passion for the game I believe.

That’s dumb for them but I would do that shit in an instanttttt lmao

No thanks.

Anybody but one of Shai or Chet. I’d do #12, 2024 HOU top 4 protected 1st, and all of our future picks with Giddey

I’m not sure if I’d do Chet for Zion 1 for 1

Yeah, I feel like the pelicans are the ones turning this trade down, not us.
Edit: before I get blasted, I’m not saying I like it, but our front office would do that in a heartbeat. Zion is still young enough that presti would take that bet.

Nope! I do not want to be the next clippers.

Playing devil’s advocate. I low key do this trade as a swap no picks. Chet is not a sure thing and we know what Zion is. Maybe he is only playing 25 games a year because he doesn’t want to be in NO. Playing with another all star might spark his passion.

You knock a guy for playing 25 games a year for a rookie who missed his entire first season through injury lol
Ghiblee
Guys at my local YMCA have more game time than Zion.
Hard pass, Chet’s injury was one he hasn’t seen in his career. Zion has chronic injuries. We don’t know if Chet’s injuries will be chronic.

Honestly this might be one of the most fair trades. Zion already a 2x allstar has shown he can be in that borderline mvp sphere. His most played games was 61 in a year so I don’t doubt that he can get healthy. Now this is a case of an overweight player needing to lose weight vs a underweight player needing to gain weight. Zion would need to drop like 30-40 lbs to get in that healthy weight for his body. Chet being at 195 and needing to defend other players at 250 lbs+ scares me. That’s going to be a daily beat down on his body. Chet is around 195 lbs and I don’t see him being close to 250 which would be really good.

Zion signed a 5-year, $200M contract. The simple money on that trade won’t reach. And if he’s broken down at 23, imagine him at 28 when he’s making $40+M and we have guys to pay.
BARBASANN
Chet has played in how many games?

That’s Sam Presti for you- He’s always selling the good parts of the thunder team off for cash and MAYBE’s, Thank him for not ever having a third round team-
