I often think about what TMac mentions here about how fucking fun it must be as a player to play with Jokic.
I’m getting way ahead of myself, but this season has the same vibes as the first season where people realized that Curry was legit and all of the long standing criticisms about his style of play just faded away into the ether. Just the way the whole team has developed, and how the way people talk about their best player feels so familiar to the early days of the Warriors dynasty.

In PGs podcast, he was saying it’s so hard to gauge Jokic’s greatness and wrap your mind around/appreciate what he’s doing because there’s no one in history to compare him to. I think that’s an apt description of what we’re witnessing with him

I always see Jokic one of a kind, he’s like a mix of Dirk + Nash + Marc Gasol
It’s a product of the west coast games being late for lot of people but it’s more toward how trash ESPN and others are at covering the sport instead of always just focusing on two or three stories for months at a time. There are so many players that don’t get the plug they deserve and to say there’s no time for it is utterly ridiculous lol when you have show after show after show that does nothing but talk about these sports haha.
