His hiring also likely won't be the last *aside* from a GM – expect the Wiz's front office to change significantly and get bigger, as well.

Question I have is who is running the draft because it doesn’t sound like it’s Schlenk. And if Schlenk is the the 3rd guy they must have another big name for GM role
Will he be overseeing the games of 50 I play with the homies ?
From a mom and pop shop to a professional organization, I’m liking it so far.
So who will do the actual wheeling and dealing with other teams ? Run the draft ?
I hope that this hire is further indication of a change. Schlenk has a great reputation around the league for talent evaluation and drafting. Winger is seen as a “builder” and the rumored pick for GM is a rising star building an exciting young team down in OKC. I truly hope that this is a turning point for the franchise.
It’s time to say goodbye to this confusing era of Wizards basketball and build something we can be excited about from scratch.
So Schlenk is Intel, new GM will be Ops. Working side by side under Winger. sounds like a more coherent structure than whatever tf they’ve been doing the last 5 years.
