Jokic set up nice screens for Murray and that's why it's hard to stop Murray from scoring because you have this big center in Jokic that you have to run around just to get close to Murray. Jokic does not play like an old school center like Shaq, who posts up by the rim and tries to score up close.

This was such a winnable game for the Heat, the nuggs really didnt play that great after all that rest. Heat's 3 point shooters were cold as brick and we got passive jimmy instead of playoff jimmy. Bam showed up and the defense was good tho. Only gonna get more difficult from here

Not a great game but Heat have a couple key advantages in this series. Number 1. Is depth, if Herro and Love both Return Miami has about 10-11 players who can contribute while Denver only really goes 6 deep, their starters looked gassed in the 4th because they were playing heavy minutes and number 2. Kinda goes along with 1 but all you hear in the media is that the nuggets are too big for Miami but Miami can and has used this to their advantage, with fresh legs and smaller players the Nuggets don’t have the foot speed to keep up with Miami’s shooters. Miami had a ton of wide open looks from three tonight because of this. Nuggets fans are heavily underestimating this heat squad, Butler and Spo are resilient and Miami will bounce back
Heat played well. Difference was the ball going through the net. The had the capability of staying at pace, however their shot did not fins the end of the end. Right shots, wrong stroke.
Its only the first game so nothing to worry about.

So many missed open shots beyond the line. Coach couldn't change tactics offensively because the game worked, they were getting to those positions. Terrible shooting night. Still Denver was dominant physically and thats one of the keys for Malone. I had it Nuggets in 6 two days ago and now I am more like Denver in 5. Jokic brought his A game of passing and that meant a lot. They are such a solid and composed team, way ahead of every franchise in this moment.
