  1. I read some of the comments earlier just to get a sense of how they felt about the Heat players and what to expect for the next game as they obviously know their own players better.

Half of the comments are exactly the same as the Lakers thread after game 1, felt good it was only 11, we came back, adjustments etc etc.

The other half literally saying if more shots went in they would have won. I mean i guess if you score more than the other team you win so technically thats correct.

I dont expect fans to give up after losing a single game and Miami can ofcourse win the next one but these takes are so stupid. Nuggets seem to have to win by 30 in order for the other fans to say that it was a legit win.

Ah Poor Heat fans… They are in first stage of grief( denial)

After next game it’s gonna be anger( How is it possible from Murray to score that?!!! They are so lucky!!!)

  3. Copium. As if only their side will be the ones to make adjustments.

Also forgetting another game at altitude after a long series against the Celtics.

And lastly not realizing we never really got out of second gear because we didn’t have to.

If Denver made a decent more chunk of their threes that game it looks different too.

The Heat don’t quit, and it’s true that until the 4th quarter they were missing almost all their open 3s. Spoelstra is a great coach who has more tricks up his sleeve. The Heat are great at getting open, in-rhythm 3s, and they went down a lot more against Boston. I think the Nuggets can defend better than they did in game 1.

But it’s encouraging to me that even though the Heat were able to make runs to get the lead down to 10 or 8, the Nuggets responded and ended the run. Contrast that with the Lakers in the 3rd quarter of game 4, or a lot of the Heat’s 4th quarter comebacks. Malone is not Mazzulla – the Nuggets will make adjustments too, and the Nuggets don’t quit either.

I really don’t get these posts! I was seeing reasons why we could win with Facu and Austin. What are you supposed to do/say.

They should just put Zeller on Jokić and let Bam roam, that’ll shut him down

Hey if every team played to their potential daily, it’d be a completely different league.

Also, we fans really don’t see in depth how teams adjust to force other teams into not playing to their potential.

End of the day this game is about WINNING so no amount of “what ifs” change shit

Both Miami and Denver had poor shooting nights. 11 point difference doesn’t even reflect dominance Denver had. Miami is though, we will see what will they do next game but improving it’s shooting efficiency alone won’t get them far!

  10. My dudes in Heatdom, Jokic took three shots in the first half. If you think you’re getting that every game, I have some oceanfront property in Aspen for sale.

I thought I was on the Heat sub initially lol as a Laker fan I can confirm I felt the exact same way after Game 1 and look how that turned out.

Denver is just not going to shoot themselves in the foot so unless Miami goes nuclear from 3 I think it’s gonna be a wrap.

What are you expecting? Hundreds of posts admitting defeat?

    Leave them be.
