I honestly don’t think this is a huge concern. Harden’s always played high minutes (and I think he prefers to), and Maxey too played high minutes when he started (36+). I don’t think he’s playing Joel 38 minutes and if he does then I stand corrected.

But he’s had some nasty Toronto lineups to work with man, if you look at the minutes distribution on his last season team he HAD to play anybody who could shoot a lick high minutes. Ujiri gave him 9 6″9+ guys, 7 of whom couldn’t shoot for shit

Damn he had Bo Cruz and underused him. Fire him /s

Lmao post downvoted because I don’t think people in this sub get it. Nurse isn’t stupid, he’s only got this reputation because he’s been dealt a bad hand in terms of bench depth. Melton might be better than anyone he’s had in Toronto since 2020 off the bench (I don’t count Norman Powell because he was basically a starter, but their probably close)

  4. kawahi and lowry were rested that season. kawhi played 60 games, that means 22 games more minutes for ohter player which bumped up thier minutes looking more equal.

that plus players like miles, wright, jonas etc didnt finish the season with team were part of trades. mccaw/lin/monroe, meeks etc were signed midseason.

so the depth looks stronger than it is.
