[Wind] Tonight was the second-fewest points that Denver has scored all playoffs. It was the second-worst that the Nuggets have shot from 3 this postseason. And they still won by double-digits.

Where’s Rui Hachimura when the Heat need him?

  2. suzakutrading

But heat fans tolds me that they’re not worried because they shot poorly but still ONLY lost by 11.

Spoiler Alert: They shot better than the Nuggets from 3.

It helps that Caleb Martin + Max Strus + Gabe Vincent turned into Caleb Martin + Max Strus + Gabe Vincent and not Steph Curry + Klay Thompson + Ray Allen

  4. Daconvix

I swear the east better not let this mid ass heat team win the conference again…

I said this coming in and I’ll keep saying it. Put Jimmy where you want as he is a great defender but still:

The Heat have no one who matches up well with Jokic.
The Heat have no one who matches up well with Murray.
The Heat have no one who matches up well with Gordon.
The Heat have no one who matches up well with MPJ.

Jokic thrives on exploiting mismatches. The Nuggets are also built to wreck zones.

I love how many people immediately started talking shit about the “undrafted” guys. A lot of players are still inexperienced and playing in the finals is a whole new level.

But then again, people talk shit about Jimmy too, as soon as Miami went down 3-3 against Boston. Some people struggle to understand the context and they keep repeating stuff that gets upvotes

I’m still mad this morning about the Nuggets’ shooting this game. We couldn’t get one off night from them?

  8. ConfidentCobbler5100

Yeah I noticed this, too. Very promising to have a poor shooting and offensive might by our standards and still completely and utterly dominate the game for like 40 minutes.

  9. BootStrapWill

Damn Denver got a moral victory and an actual victory in the same game it really is a wrap

  10. embarrassed4real

They shot the worst and scored the least because Miamis defense is incredible.

  11. Capo_capo

They’re sweeping unless Jimmy pulls out a game or two like he had against the Bucks. Denver is ridiculously good.

  12. Phenomenal2313

Jokic is the absolute zone breaker , it forces Miami to play man-to-man and let’s face the truth , they matchup so horribly

Boston actually matches up well , but they shat the bed vs Miami

  13. Theopocalypse

Timberwolves showing against Denver looking better every day. Don’t sleep on Ant next year.

  14. DCJustSomeone

Heat only shot 2 FTs and were horrible from 3pt with good looks. Hopefully, its a closer game on Sunday.

  15. DrPepperPower

I think ever since the Lakers series you can see that the Nuggets are just better than everyone else at the tournament.

  16. joyloveroot

Blah, silly take… if Miami shot as well as the Nuggets and had as many FTA, they would have blown them out.

  17. This could be Spo and Riley losing 3 finals in a row

  18. Eastern_Eye8790

On the other hand, the 2 free throws Miami got are the fewest in all of Finals history, and Strus and Robinson shot a combined 1-14 from 3.

  19. Neltrix

Struss and Caleb hit at least 1 shot each and the media heads start changing the narrative to “the Nuggets should be worried”

    Hopefully Herros return helps

  20. sid-darth

This is one of those moral victory things for the Heat. No shame guys. The Celtics went fishing with a bag full of them.

  21. dbgager

If you play the best defensively that is possible and they still win by double digits. What are the chances.

  22. TheDoethrak

It feels like the Nuggets always do just enough to win. The game even it went to single digits never felt particularly close and the Nugs were just cruising the entire time. And even in the Lakers series it always seemed like the Nuggets had an extra gear they could get to if pushed, while the Lakers were playing to their limit just to keep it close.

  23. D_Simmons

On Paper the Nuggets are far better than the Heat. It’s a shame every team in the East fucked off because a Finals sweep just isn’t entertaining :/
