A new head coach for the Raptors may be on board sooner rather than later. Multiple NBA sources say the franchise is moving to a second round of interviews for the job that became vacant when Nick Nurse was let go last month after five seasons. One source said Raptors vice chairman and president Masai Ujiri has narrowed the list of candidates to three and final interviews are being scheduled, although that number was not independently confirmed. Names of the finalists were not available but, after casting a wide net through every level of coaching candidates around the world, it appears Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster are close to a hire.

Give it to Nash. Any coach will also fail under the drama witnessed with Kyrie, Harden and KD.
No way you think Doug Smith is a reliable source because he ain’t, They’re not hiring Nash
Please don't shout out Doug Smith. He is one of the worst writers in Toronto. Absolute tool
2 coaches
lord no not doc rivers
jordi has to be the best bet
What about David Adelman Nuggets assistant?
Not sure that’s what the article said. It said the list has been narrowed to 3 but the couldn’t confirm that number or the candidates and speculated on the names interviewed.
If masai hires Nash or doc I’m out on him COMPLETELY..I don’t care about what he’s done in THE PAST.. raptors haven’t won a playoff series in 4 years and you wanna bring nash and doc here bro I sick to my stomach
Fernandez.
What about Stackhouse? He's coached a number of the starters on the 905. He's been a winner everywhere he's coached. He knows the Raptors system, and has made it work. He holds his players accountable. He's good with development. If the Raptors are bringing back most of the lineup, he would seem to be the most seamless fit of anyone I've heard mentioned. If the Raptors had won half of the games they lost by 8 or less last year, they'd have been in the top 6 in the east. I think Stackhouse could have gotten those wins. Nurse lost the team by not playing so many bench guys. Who would be better at development than a guy that got their development team (the 905) to win a G League championship?
you left out the suns old coach i forget his name at the moment
I don’t want any of these failure coaches rather bring in someone new
Jordi, new face, lets what he can do. Im raptors fan btw.
Hire Fernandez if yah want to play fast n free flowing. N I mean a guy who actually has a system that drills these habits.
Imagine if they swapped coaches. I like Doc's experience. He is a playoff coach but had some bad luck.
If we hire Doc Rivers I’m going to be super disappointed.
