  1. You are experimenting. You put an unriped coach to lead a championship caliber team who in the playoffs, barely won the first round, almost lost in the second round, and completely pounded in the ECF. There are big coaches in the market right now and yet you still stick with the rookie. smh 🤏🏼

  2. Brad you have to eat this one. Both you and the organization. You let HR issues get out in public and cost you a championship. Joe is NOT the one. JB will only be there one more year, then he is going to ask for a trade.

  3. Crazy comments on here. Brad is 100%. We had the 2nd best offense and the 2nd best defense. All this team needs are some tweaks. Personnel wise, coaching wise. The one thing id like to see is a true post up big man. I think if Rob can get the whole yea r under his belt he could be th at guy, maybe add a mid range shot. Love hoford, love everything he's done for this team but he's getting pretty long in the tooth. If we can find a more dominant young big you'd have to consider making a move.

  4. I’m proud of this team after what happened at the beginning of the year we could have been way worse off. Recharge and regroup joe will have his staff for next year and in his first year he made it to game 7 of the ecf hell of a coach. Tatum will be 26 and jb will be 27 outside of Kobe and dwade they won chips at 24 and under. Mj won his first chip at 28, lebron at 27 and Steph at 27 put that into perspective. These guys are so young and if you ain’t here when we losing don’t be here when we winning. #bleedgreen

  5. Does Brad know the objective is to win a championship ? So proud of a winning season and individual accomplishment

  6. Brad, being a nice guy wont guarantee a championship. Looks like you care more about your guys career than winning a ring, rolling with your guys, Joe, Smart, AL, JB isnt working, be a GM and make the tough decisions dont worry about your friends feelings worry about winning.

  7. Five minutes in and sounds like they’re gonna run it back 😢 including the head coach. Expect the same result, C’s fans.

  8. 84 points in a game 7. 84 points!!! And Joe did a heck of a job with that talent. Theirs a guy lying if ever there was one.

  9. Outrageous excuse-making and loser mentality from Brad. The players are all lying, our defense is great because of a regular-season statistic. Joe did a great job, despite the obvious massive blunder after blunder the whole world saw. He's bringing the entire core and Joe back, I am officially done with this team. There's zero accountability, Smart and the Jays will continue to run the team and commit turnover after turnover with zero accountability. No mention of acquiring a true PG. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Enjoy 2023-24 guys, I for one am done

  10. This dude is going to add Silas and act like that’s an add lmaooo losers

  11. A lot of bullshit excuses their replacement coach sucks. Tatum plays like a second tier player. Brown plays like a third tier player. The freaking team doesn't have first tier elite players to win a championship. They better start signing top elite free agent players before it's to late. Rebuilding a team from scratch is a extreme difficult process which takes many years. They don't have time to fuck around and they better get a real coach.

  12. guys guys cmon brad this team has soooooooooooo mmmmuuuuccchhh talent on both sides of the ball but they lack mental toughness and poise when things get tight like crunch time thats where mental toughness and poise comes in. im sorry joe doesnt have that. when they r jacking up threes and continue to just jack up threes its a coachs job to call frieken timeout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and get on his team calm them down get back to playing celtic basketball and brad is believing in this guy omg until they get mentally tougher and poise they will continue to struggle in late game crunch time in the 4rth quarter tight situations. thats where mental toughness and poise comes into play and thats where your coach is soooooooooooo important!!!!!!! games 1 2 is unacceptable twice losing in the 4rth quarter then go to game 3 just quit. i cant believe brad is saying this bs i guarentee if celtics win either game 1 or 2 celtics r in the finals right now sooooooooooooooo sooooooooooooooo frustrating brad

  13. Brad knows infinitely more about basketball than I but he isn't talking about the problems so many people are seeing. Inconsistent defense, poor cutting, poor ball movement, taking threes too quickly, not solving the zone. And what did this team really learn from 2022? We've got one key player who hasn't yet spent a summer addressing obvious problems dribbling. And so forth. Yeah they started really well in the regular season, but they fell off. And in the playoffs, where things are very different, they were well short of their potential.

I really hope Mazulla can address all that but boy I haven't seen much sign that he's the guy to do so.

  14. The thing about the Celtics that is aggravating and frustrating is that they just don't get it! They keep making excuses and can't win. Kendrick Perkins said it best," This is it folks? Settling for second best. When I was in Boston we demanded to win championships. The Celtics are never going to win with this group because of the following reasons: 1) They never break out of bad habits. Next year they will keep jacking up threes and creating turnovers. 2) Tatum and Brown lack the competitive edge to win . They have been to four ECF's and have win one and couldn't win the championship. 3) There's no accountability. The Celtics don't have a Kevin Garnett that is intense or a Draymond Green who is going to call somebody out. In the Dan Shaunghasy's book On Top Of The World which is about the 2008 Boston Celtics championship season, Doc Rivers called out Paul Pierce and said," You think you're a great shooter but you're not because you don't hit the shots that really matter." Nobody tells Tatum, Brown, and Smart to just shut up and play and stop arguing with the refs all the time. 4) You watch next year at media day before the season begins the players will say the same narrative," We looked at the tapes, we studied film and made the right adjustments and we will be ready to go for banner 18." Then they will do the same thing they did this year except get eliminated in the first and second round of the playoffs.

  15. A lot of you aren’t a fan of the Celtics as you suggest you are.

Clearly this team needs improvement but nothing drastic. One game short of the NBA finals hurts and this team knows that. They will champion this loss.

Boston played their worst stretch of basketball in the playoffs and made their own coffin. The best teacher is experience, they will adjust. Whether you believe it or not.
