I unfollowed him because everything he says is negative or self deprecating.
No way that happens. Handy was in LA before LeBron and he also was in Cleveland with LeBron. He’ll probably stay while Bron is still here.

I don’t think Handy is a Vogel guy, he just happened to come to the Lakers when Vogel did. Remember, Vogel didn’t have full control of his staff when he was hired. Like others have said, Handy likely came when Bron came.

If Phil is your lead assistant, you’re going to have a crap assistant staff. He’s a development guy that puts the work in out of the game. Your lead assistant needs to see things you’re not seeing in game.
Why would people leave the Lakers to go to Phoenix where who knows how long Vogel will be employed.

Losing Handy would piss off Lebron. Jeanie and Pelinka would not allow that to happen. They need to give him a nice raise to keep him.

He’s been massive for the development of young players. Teams who are in tax hell, this is the best way to keep improving your team. Have the top coaches who can develop young talents.

IMO this is a non story. Of course Vog should try to pull him but Handy is a LBJ guy and a Lakers guy.
