[DuBose] I asked Rafael Stone about the role Ime Udoka has in #Rockets personnel moves, both in the draft and free agency. “We need to understand his vision. It doesn’t make any sense to go get a great player whose strengths are in a style of basketball that Ime doesn’t want to play.”

In other words, no thanks James.

Yeah Udoka emphasizes two things: off ball movement and high effort on defense. Harden doesn’t provide either.

So this makes Harden seem much less likely. Although I do wonder why there’s been so much smoke of him to Houston even after the Udoka hiring though…either the FO has course corrected very recently or most of the smoke was just coming from Harden’s camp to gain leverage with Philly

I can’t wait for Harden to sign.

Either with us or someone else because the folks here on both side claiming to glean information out of cookie cuter BS is silly.

Optimistic. If Ime doesn’t want iso ball and heavy pnr (repeat of the Silas offense), Harden is a wasted signing.

“We hate Silas…too much iso hall and too heavy on the pnr…let’s sign Harden” bwahah
