Nobody will ever care about the Spurs regardless of how good we get. Only way that ever changes is if we ever get generational talent that is also on Kobe, mike, or Lebron level of cool/marketability.

We’re likely to still be a lottery team next year. Wemby can’t fix all our problems immediately

Kawhi was great, is a top 10 or top 6 spurs all time, his departure sucked but if he wanted to come back late in his career (unlikely) he would be good for the team just as a mentor for Wemby, Dev and Sochan.

There’s a greater chance of Wemby not staying healthy and working out versus him being healthy and everything working out. I think he’s doing everything he possibly can and the Spurs will also do what they can but history says otherwise unfortunately.

Devin and Keldon probably have to leave and our owners may want to be in Austin

Wemby might not work here and leave in free agency.

Victor has offensive potential literally out of the stratosphere and could genuinely turn into a 30-point per game score one day… With that said, he’s very very early into his development on that end and really just recently began operating as a perimeter player.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he averages under 20 a game next year and he’s going to take some time on that end. That’s probably going to be viewed as a disappointment to those who are irrationally high on him right now.
He will get there in time but he’s very far from being a ready to go player on that end. Paulo Banchero was probably a more ready to contribute rookie on offense than Victor will be day one.
His defense should be impressive from the get-go though

If we’re speaking in terms of peak, Kawhi leonard is somewhere between 2-5 of our best player ever

We are partially to blame for the kwahi situation

Wemby will lead us to a championship next season – book it

We’ve been run for 20+ years by the best coach-manager duo in the history of the league, and it’s coming to an end soon and we have no idea what it’s gonna be like when they leave
