Such a weird season. I mean, based on the regular season games, how far is this team from the Nuggets or the Heat? Not very f'n far.
Agreed to keep Jak around (at 17 or 18 mill), if only to take pressure off OG and Precious having to bump the big opposing bodies. He obviously can't play in crunch time – except on defensive possessions. But I predict Gary stays and Fred leaves. All the signs are there – Gary's still in town, while Fred's being connected with the Lakers, the Sixers and the Magic. The gap between Fred's value and his next contract is WAY bigger than between Gary's value and his next contract. And in our last playoff series, the Raps took two of three games from the Sixers without Fred in the lineup.

OG is worth more if we sign him longterm, deal lower than current Pascal pay and OG also takes another leap. Siakam is what he is.
Consensus seems to be, keep OG at all costs. I agree with that. Low usage, 3 & elite D guys are invaluable.
I want the coach to have a development bend. At least we'd know what direction the FO is trying to take with the franchise. Then I want to see trades to get better positioned with draft picks and or younger players to move forward. The last thing I want to see is "confidence" in the current core to grow into a championship team.
everyone gives Eric heat for the trades he's been proposing, and me personally, I think every one has been incredible
still makes little sense to trade OG, but Siakam needs to get off this roster ASAP. that $192/4yr extension will cripple this franchise
OG can just cancel his contract and then resign to get more money. Why put so much confusion.
I am hoping next season Banton gets to play this new season. The offense needs more structure. I hope the next head coach will provide that.

My greatest concern is that Masai fired Nick because he's committed to running it back with Pascal. GTJ leaving is another big L for the FO. Teams were salivating for GTJ a year ago and now we get nothing in return for Norm(another championship piece) leaving
