Jokic stealing the playcall from the Heat
Jokic is a genius.
He's absolutely exhausted, yet he still picks up on the fact that the sideline is signaling for a Pistol action (this variation is called "21 Keep").
He notifies his teammates, they are on top of it, and it leads to a back-breaking turnover for Miami. pic.twitter.com/hvRmshmRNV

That’s actually just a Ja Morant shoutout

I remember seeing this live and thinking he was calling out some defensive set. This dude is so cerebral.
Jokic is a brilliant player, but honestly “stealing” calls in the NBA is nothing special. Both teams in any series knows all the other teams calls pretty quick. You could see in the Suns series Monte & Malone were just openly making their calls, not trying to hide them at all. Jokic made a good play on the ball, but really Lowry made a bad forced pass inside when he should’ve waited and extra second and kicked it to Highsmith for a 3. So more of a careless unforced turnover than some monumental testament to Jokic’s intellect. The overall way Jokic plays throughout each game constantly showcases he’s a genius ball player.
Surprised there is no effort made to disguise playcalls. Is having some kind of codeword for it not worth the effort?
