(Scotto) Sources: Celtics assistants Ben Sullivan, Mike Moser and Garrett Jackson are joining Ime Udoka’s staff on the Rockets, @hoopshype has learned. Celtics assistant Aaron Miles has drawn interest from the Rockets and other teams. Jarrell Christian has also drawn interest from teams.

Annoying but not the worst thing. Hopefully Joe and Brad can get some good and experienced coaches to get on the same page with more time. Losing Ben is the biggest one.

    Also, fuck Ime Udoka.

I don’t understand why did we hire someone inexperienced and with no relationships with other assistants in the league. This was bond to happen. Almost all the teams that are hiring coaches this off-season are hiring experienced coaches.

Joe Mazzulla gonna need a new pre-game pickup squad

In less than a year Ime, and all his assistants who really helped develop these guys and instill new philosophies are gone 🙃

They were completely useless. Scram mothafuckas

We’ve won nothing with them good riddance ☘️☘️☘️

Kevin Ollie to the Nets. It’d be nice if the Cs announced Stephen Silas soon. Mazzulla is starting to seem like that fresh prince meme of Will in the empty house.

It’s literally just gonna be Joe on the sidelines and nobody else lmao.

Oh no the useless assistants who barely helped Joe are gone

Truly the end of the world for us guys

Joe probably wants his own staff anyways. Good riddance

These were the fuckers behind our shitty playoff run.

Good riddance. I like this a lot. Fresh new outlook this offseason.

If they want to leave then I wish them well. They weren’t put in an ideal situation with the guy that hired them getting fired.

I wanna see how the coaching staff is filled out. I don’t know enough about the assistant coach talent pool to have an opinion. I trust Joe and Brad will make good decisions.

Hopefully we can get guys with experience. Names like James Borrego, Nate McMillan, Dave Joeger (if Nurse doesn’t keep him), Stephen Silas, Brett Brown come to mind. Idk how many of those guys would be willing to take an assistant position, but it could be a good stepping stone back into a future HC role.

Why have hard feelings towards these dudes? The guy they came to work for got removed last minute and was replaced with someone that clearly wasn’t ready for that role. Some of you blaming them for this teams shortcomings is also asinine, especially when you guys will make excuses for the players, Joe, and Brad

Joe needed his own team anyway. Sucks for continuity purposes, but hopefully a while coaching team that’s aligned will do the team some good.

  17. So Aaron Miles isn’t a definitive guarantee to leave then? Interesting, I wonder if Brad is trying to negotiate a pay raise and/or some type of promotion at all in an attempt to keep him.

Sucks, hopefully they announce some hires soon like Silas for starters.

I’m going to hope for Charles Lee and/or Sam Cassell as well.

Honestly fine with this, Joe needs his own team

Oh, everybody on the coaching staff is jumping ship. Fuck.
