I'd be stoked if we got him. To build around Sharpe and him going into the future would be a hell of a start to building a future contender. With that being said. I really want to see Dame get a chip in Portland. As unlikely as that is unfortunately, if i could predict the future and that was a probability i would be extremely grateful and excited for Dame. I hope Cronin and Portland do the right thing. I dont know what that right thing is and we wont see it until the future whether whatever decisions they made were right. As long as they dont trade Sharpe though I'm happy.

All last year people kept saying we need a true back up point guard. Why can't this guy come off the bench with Sharpe for Dame and Simons? You can still go out and use other assets to improve the roster and get more depth and size with Veterans being the priority. But if the Blazers can't get good value in return for the 3rd pick and teams are trying to squeeze the Blazers then just keep the pick and get your backup point guard for now and starting point guard of the future.
If the Blazers can get Scoot and choose to pass or trade him, they will regret it as much as Oden over Durant or Bowie over Jordan. Future star.
