The Utah Jazz may be looking to make a trade in the upcoming 2023 NBA draft and it’s looking like Cam Whitmore may be the guy they’re looking at. Cam Whitmore had a draft workout for the Jazz in Utah after visiting the Indiana Pacers and it’s clear he might be someone they could target in a trade because being at pick 9 it’s very unlikely that Whitmore is available to the jazz, something we’ve seen in plenty of mock drafts and big boards.

Nah, The Rockets will select Miller, Scoot, or Amen. Pretty dumb to move back to 9 in a draft this talented.

The rockets 🚀 could trade down if they really go after harden. I think there is validity to that rumor.
The rockets would look to get players that are veterans like green.
Rather then develop theybwill use more lower draft picks as they are lower in base cost 💲 but also a deep enough draft to use as roster fillers.
Houston may very well trade their pick. May!
The key is at what cost.
Jazz need to be patient as they can absorb a bad contract and get a better pick etc.
moving sexton is ok but nothing wrong reading Clarkson.
Get naz reid and or grant Williams or Kuzma.
Jazz can go after it!

James, I'm with you on this one. Cam Whitmore is the player I want if the Jazz can move up far enough to draft him. The guy is a spectacular player. He plays defense, shoots the ball well, can take a pounding, has terrific foot speed, is athletically gifted, can make spectacular dunks and understands the game. This kid has STAR written all over him. I'd be willing to see the Jazz give up a lot to add him to the roster. I just hope the trade doesn't include Kessler or Markkanen . . . everyone else is fair game.
I also agree that he wouldn't have worked out for the Jazz if they had not privately told him, "We're going to do everything we can to draft you." 🤓🤠😎
